The last 1 hour close sure makes me want to go back short looking for a target of 1.6055 but I may wait and let it climb back up the wick a bit.

A pro trader is:
1. One who does his homework
2. One who knows when they've made a bad trade
3. Accepts risk
4. Treats a winning trade like a loosing trade - Nonemotional attachment
5. Makes a consistant profit

I still do not consider myself to be a professional trader and I meet all the above criteria. Trading is hard work! If anyone tells you that you can do it while sitting on your ass drinking martini's and watching the surf roll in is blowing smoke up your ass and probably trying to sell some crazy system that they themselves can't even apply.

I think pro trader is that who manage account with 7 nummbers.. and He or She are trader with no emotion.

when I start learn this market I don`t even know how hard it is.. three years gone.. only what I think every day it`s FX market.. and thank you for sharing your experience...

hah, something like that is what got me into the forex in the first place... sifting through the spam folder for kicks and saw an ad for some robot. "Wow, this is really stupid." I thought at first, then started ripping through any info I could find about the market I've never heard about. I'm glad I got that spam.

Hi there!

Well, I have just been introduced to this thread by another trader, and I must say, there is a stack of reading to be done!

I have the PDF, and am trying to make my way through the posts. The inevitable question is though, has the thread changed much since the beginning, or is the core of it the much the same as day one? If it has changed, does anyone know where abouts in the thread's lengthy history I should make a start on it?

By the looks of things, there are some exciting things going on here, and I am happy to be on board, and look forward to somehow being able to contribute, even if it is only on the pip tally...

Pit of pickle this one,1hr says long of the 62,15m say stay short and ride it down,anybody taking either or have any thoughts as to the better/stronger option ?
My gut is telling me to go long,but my eyes are making me doubt my gut

Well,that backfired on me and was a perfect lesson in doing what you see and not what your gut tells you. I took the long of the 62 1hr and got spanked.Oh well at least it was a smaller than normal £ per pip value for me, so at least it did'nt pull my pants down as well LOL.

Hi Eo,

it was only a joke and I don't want to disrespect somebody. I know that it needs a lot of special attributes like discipline and patience, confidence,constant effort...to become a pro trader or someone who makes a living form forex. Everybody who can achieve his trading goals deserves respect.

A very bullish pin just closed on the 4 hr.. But remember it can come down into the wick before going long.. also news in 30 min.. might be the catalist for it's move but also mondays a holiday here in the states so a lot of people may be taking off early today.. So trade safe and keep your wits about you.. Ken

what do you think about the situation on the 15 min and 1 hr chart. After a very good long set up she is struggeling with the 1hr 62 ema and the 35/50 on the 15 min. I also have a resistance line at 6006. Is this a situation where you would go short even you have this hammer on the 4 hr?

I will wait till after the news that could change a lot of things.. But just follow PA . that is what we dot anyway..yes I had taken a couple of short scalps off that 35/50 area myself but it hasn't had any follow thru either. So we will have to see.

I shorted half my lot at the 15min 35 touch and other half at 1.600. The 1 hour close below 62 ema gave me more confidence to leave them both running. Covered now and taking more off around 5960 to 70.
I agree with Ken the 4hr close could entice a lot of buyers around the lower part of the 4 hour wick.

Forgot to mentiion I closed out my long at 1.60 from 1.5950.. some days it works out ok

bullish indeed! can enter long upon the close of the candle and the profit target will be the same distance of AB. stop loss just at the lowest low of the previous candle i.e. hammer

nice one rob, thats awesome....i think thats about the sweetest set up for a short on the h1 and m15. entry dead on 16.000 tp 50% at 15 pips and running the rest targeting 950.
