Holding half position long on this pair. if it pleases the forex gods.
Friday US session will be no econ news really, not typically a good scenario for bearish price action play.

i have never made trade based on an "HS" pattern in my life and never will. Forget that mumbo jumbo and trade support and resistance!

We will see a huge short covering next week. So don't try to buy at these levels. All this talk about Gold at at $1200 and USD going to loose the reserve status its all true but not going to happen overnight. Be prepared for some massive corrections in a few days

If you don't know, then you sit and wait until you do....it is also the reason you use small lot sizes in case you are wrong.

I can withstand a 10,000 pip move against my account before it blows up. How much can you withstand?

USD will not lose the reserve status....it will create global chaos....

at last someone that have seen this over and over again..i was in forex then (1.60 level) i am here now so when all are believe long the crash will come 1.30 is a justified price...study history , sure this cannot come very fast but will be faster than you can imagine. and something else i own physical gold all sold today and also shorted this hard.

Well my account can stand 1500 pip movement, which is fine for me i can hold also big jumps up and down no problem, only thing i am worried is loosing pips I use yes small lot sizes but i will gain end of the day mostly round 40-70 pips which pleases me for now.

Yes i am not in now at all just looking what the market will do when asia will open just wanted to ask your opinion about it and thats it...

but you wouldn't do that would you? your brain would kick in. This is like giving A+ to the posts here like: 'i started with $500, made $1500 and then being convinced on the direction lost all of it as it went against me'

They don't say 'trade with the trend', cut your losses and let your profits run for no reason.

but if you are okay with 10,000 pips go against you then you are trading on a gigantic timeframe

I don't use stops to exit a losing position. I only use it as part of a trade that is already in progress where I can move a position to break even plus cover my spread.... or to prevent a position from going negative on me.
Neither do I place profit targets.....I do not wish to give away anything I do to the brokers

Once I place a trade, I consider it correct and manage it to profit. I perform all my trades this way.

Your m.o. is predicated on ample capitalization, but, of course, lack thereof is the downfall of many. And you are always hedging your positions so that your margin is maintained within certain limits, right? But, if you get caught hedging against a trend that runs & runs, you might have to hold that hedge position over a long time. What is the longest you have waited for an out-of-money trade to work out to BE or small loss?
