The thing I enjoy most about this way of trading is that in loads of other threads people are having a hard time trading this and we are still going strong.

Yeah because we get great low risk entrys = tight stops but the key imo is keeping a runner in there...I sure as hell can't predict when its gonna run 100 pips or 15 but as soon as I tp on 50 % and move the stop to flat who cares its a free ride whatever happens

Thank you but I'm still far away from being a skilled trader like the good guys and women in this thread. But I'm getting better.

At the moment I can't trade like that because my broker won't allow hedging, so I am more like Ken where I will take what I can otherwise if I already have a short in I can't then place a long if I see it. My broker also has the FIFO rule and if I had several longs even small ones I would have to close the first one put in even though it might not be the one I want to close, so for now its going to have to be scalping. Once I can afford to have 2 different accounts, one for longs and one for shorts like several do in here, I will do that.

Ah ok that's cool, I'm not heging yet either only going one direction...one step at a time

Hey guys! Just because Infinity and I have not been around, does not mean the mechanics of the system have changed. I have some issues I'm working out atm that require my attention greatly. I will be back, just don't know when. We have some great traders in the thread, so don't be afraid to share and collaborate!

Hello all,

I had a negative trade today. I entered after the two marked candles. I thought the price showed weakness after the first top. Looked like we get a lower high. I took the trend when the next candle opened and placed a SL a few pipes above the old high. My plan was to exit when a candles closes above the high of the first candle in the cycle. Unfortunately she hit my SL before she came back and closed near the high of the first candle in the cycle.

Any thoughts or hints are welcome.

your comments had enlightened me. That's right there was no s/r area or a touch of an important MA on one of the higher timeframes when I entered. I only speculated for a fall after the weakness. It was a situation like "the PA gives you a second chance to enter after you missed the first high".
