Hi, I am new to this forum and realy like what I see. Can you please answer a few questions....
1. Do you only trade GBPUSD with the xpMA and tail indicator? OR does it work on ALL charts?

i am waiting for it to break support 3 of which i think it will break and if it does so then mms on the 1.5732 will be the target

Hi Lion, I took the most recent 5 min drop. Would you consider that a high risk trade to take since boht H1 and H4 in negative territory?

if you went long, good

For some odd reason I see a trend reversal forming on GU 1 hour, if the next candle confirms, next week onwards we could be in a bull run.

as for trading 1 min, its an art which you need to learn carefully, you should know when to get in and when to avoid, use 5 min for guidance if not sure

traps are easy to spot, you just need to train yourself to follow trading discipline

 

  1. like a chart setup is forming for a long, and suddenly price drops for no reason [ a bear trap ]
  2. and so on.
  3. unless the drop is not justified on other time frames also, its an easy to spot trap

take for example the last NFP, not this one, the one prior to this.

on GJ 15 min, during NFP the price suddenly spiked up 50 to 60 pips then dropped 300 pips, now that was a classic bull trap.

scuse me mate but thats not total amount of pips, but this is in terms of currency points
u did not make 2800 pips

Demo account starting with 500K with 0.5 lot trades.

Why not try fewer trades with correct money mangement?

For example, with 500K Equity with 2.5% risk, you should have 62 (100K lots) or 625 (10K lots) subject to leverage setup (assuming 200:1).

Also, trading without SL with 5 mini lots is not going to blow your 500K anytime soon but as you are learning, it is better to start as you mean to go on.
You will find excellent advice on MM elsewhere in FF.
