The following chart made me go long before planned level of 1.4500.

I wonder what bears think. Any thoughts?

*L* i worked for a cripple guy in 87. he had money comming at his ass.. about 30 million in 87 that was real money. he also had 2.5 million py trust and other investments.. my budget was about 25k a month.. we partied and went over budget a few times every month.. sometimes a months budget in a weekend. miami was fun...lots of fun.. and then some. and yes we played that game with him. he coud not smell. so sometimes we would leave elevator early and leave him holding the bag when others walked in. *L* sick i know.. we always played jokes on one another.

The best one I ever saw was a turd wiped on the inside of the sweat band of a welding hood. Nooo, we never had fights at work.

Now look at your chart once again very minutely. You would notice a number of spikes fencing aroud all curves. I read them: If thouse spikes are pulling the price up (spikes shooting up), price wants to go up. However, if they are pointing down, forcing price to go down. A quick retrace after a major move down if that move was against the wishes of those spikes (and vice versa).

What do you now see in the last couple of curves and down moves?.

This is a funny chart reading method, but just an additional comfort. You may try it for fun so that I get a second opinion in this world of paradox.

from 4585 longs were the way to go.. you had your back against the wall..so r/r was good........i cant blame you.. we got a fib from last years big move H/L @ 4619 being ignored too. but i would lock in be when able..4585 area is a line in the sand for me..and now taking out last low would help too and no new highs..just the opposite for bull side..on the 15 we did have a bullish consolidation that usauly turns bearish and ends with a spike up then continuation down..look for it..

Well, what I see is the long tails (shadows) in 5 out of 6 candles where the 6th candle touched the upper trendline. To me that suggests that the bulls were stronger than the bears, but the bears gave it a good shot and keeping it down. Eventually the bears got it down to 4590 or so, and today (NZ time) it has taken the bulls 5 candles to get it back up to 4634 or so....yet it took only 2 candles for the bears to push it back to 4590 or so. Now, last hours candle had a long shadow 'up top', and this hour the fight seems to be favouring the bears slightly, which leads me to believe that the bears are not going to let this get too high, or even too much higher. Obviously this hour is yet to close, so that last bit of analysis might all turn to shit!!

I like the way you look at it, and it certainly is another perspective. Thank you
