EDIT: or not...stopped out for - 23
this is the first comb to fail me for a while now,does anyone see anything i didnt??
price actually made it to a 1:1 return and so i could have tightened my stop there and not took a full loss?? any opinions/advise welcome

There was plenty of combs on higher TF with good outcome. I don't understand why you guys bother with half-decent 1h combs.

We also have to remember that we are dealing with probabilities when trading. No method can exclude the possibility for making a loss.

You just nailed it I personally love 4hr onez, daylies are great as well. Anyway, this wasnt even close to a so-so comb for me.

thanx aediaz, Belekas, i realize this is a game of probabilities, i just wondered if id missed anything obvious n newbie?! im a bit suprised at how badly you and Belekas rate this comb, i thought it was ok quality. just shows i got a lot to learn.. i like the 15 min Tf though and they usually work out well. I have a question for you guys, do you discard the set up if price moves too far away from the TL or if it takes too long to form? do you set any kinds of limits on these thing??
i have put up a chart to illustrate my problem

I don't care much for ok setups. I'm more fan of those setups where I can't find a single reason for not taking them and where I can accept being wrong without the frustration.

To answer your question, I can't give you a simple yes/no, it depends on other factors too like i.e how strong the trend is. Here's a perfect comb (IMO) on nzd/usd daily chart;

i did actually have that comb on my chart i have done ok with the comb formation and it is one of my fav. setups without a doubt. i guess im getting a bit lax in my approach. thanx for the reminder!!
