The EUR/USD managed to hold above yesterday"s 1.4620 low amid talk of an Asian sovereign name buying at the lows. The pairing has bounced back above 1.4650 from a low of 1.4623.

I knew there was going to be a JPY news release...didn't know it would affect EUR/USD and GBP/USD. Guess I have a lot to learn.

Yep - they're interrelated. EURJPY was also affected. But USD is weaker than EUR currently, thus negative impact is greater on USD in the EURUSD pairing.

I have a gambling forex account that is still growing but the purpose (ideally) is to segregate my gambling mentality from my "safe trading" mentality. OK, first I am going to have to grow a "safe trading" mentality. But when its there I will have some mad money to throw at 1-way rides on the NFP or other big movers. I hope I do better than 0:100....

I'm sitting on the sides with these huge moves.

Took +57 pips when 1.4686 was knocked.

I am short bias and will expect more drops if this pair doesn't enter the trading zone.

I'm sitting out the EUR/USD pair because we are close to the magical 1.461 area. Watch the GBP/USD pair for another opportunity to short that though

Yeah, I'd like to see if 1.4611 gets played.

Thanks TheFool, this is prudent to keep wild punting miles away from regular trading.

I today decided never to go for another dream trade. It takes away days of hard work in a single session. But more importantly, I want to eliminate all bad habits. It is good that I successfully achieved 100% failure rate, easier for me to quit this bad habit with no regrets .

hmmm had my signal in early august. chicky and cobra chickend out. i like 1000 pip trades. its nice to have 400 locked in

This is third time in this year, I chickened out from a great deal.
Short of capital, but adding drop by drop for longer term trading. I wish could start right now, but tomorrow - If it comes.

ps. My pip value has increased ten fold, cannot commit much to currency trading in next few months.

Thats a sweet trade. I have the feeling the dollar is being set up to flex its muscles across the board-could test 5800, thats my reservation about going long. But down there hell yeah, count me in for a long one.
