The best way to know if the market has changed it's direction is when you spot a lower high on H4 or H1 ...

For now I only see a nice higher high and higher low so I'll stay bullish biased until I see a low broken followed by a lower high.

Simple, isn't it?

well the E/u is undecided for me so I'm shorting alot of pairs with the JPY at the end-after retrace plays out that is and trend stays in tact for me

Trend is still UP ... until 1.4615-20 is broken. If 1.4845 is breached I'll target 1.4930 and 1.4990

The EURUSD attempted to push higher yesterday, topped at 1.4842 but further bullish momentum was rejected as the pair whipsawed to the downside, closed at 1.4690. On h4 chart below we can see that after break below 1.4766, the pair is now testing 1.4670 area and has slipped below the bullish channel. We are in no trading zone now, but I still prefer a bullish scenario and see this bearish momentum just as normal correction, at least for now. Break below 1.4670 should trigger further bearish pressure testing key support area around 1.4595. Only movement below 1.4595 could be seen as potential threat to the bullish scenario. The bias is neutral in nearest term and I think now is not the best time to trade and short position is not recommended at this phase. Immediate resistance at 1.4766 followed by 1.4867. Break above 1.4867 area should continue the bullish scenario towards 1.5000.

Morning , closed all shorts & start with new one.Anyway I see oil breaks all h4 & daily channel down at the bottom while eu bounce from top. similar situation yesterday eu broke up daily channel but failed to stay ,will oil continue falling down ?

USD strengthen at the expense of valuable item like oil only while every services , commodities arround us continue jump up ?? simply not = the situation & some bubbles playing perhaps with false sense of usd power.

Hello fellows. Just dropping by to see how everyone's doing.

Won't be here long tonight (again, don't let the fact that my name appears below fool you) so really just keeping my finger on the pulse of things.

Anybody made pips shorting today? It was a good day for that. Tomorrow may be just as good...but only just. Friday too for that matter (if you have the stones to trade on a Friday).

Stoch on H4 is approaching oversold levels.

No man. I think that position hit its stop loss way back in August.

I really want to trade on bigger time frames, but cannot afford holding a position for more than a couple of days.

I am in the process of adding pennies and hope someday will be able to invest some profit in a medium term trade of six months to a year.

As mentioned in my journal, success factor of my this method is the number of trades and not their length or pips involved. This method does not give me huge rewards; but small, consistent and tension free (net) addition to my capital at tolerable risk - like drop by drop. It is very hard work requires screen time, a lot of patience, self-control and discipline - but the only feasible way I could find to operate with small capital in this crazy market.

I take trading as a business and therefore expect ROI no more than what you get in any other small business. If I remain in the business, someday it will provide a life-time opportunity risking only what I set aside for that day from my consistent profits. Let's hope for the best.

Now waiting for you to close your longs. You may like to read my signature line as few words of caution. I don't think 1.5000 will be an easy ride no matter pa's progress in the last few weeks. But this market is not bound to follow my analysis and everyone else but me is market for me.

True. But who said it's a trend reversal?

I don't see a trend reversal on my monthly chart.

There's one that could happen on the weekly chart. But it hasn't happened yet. And when it does, we don't know how long it will last. I don't believe it will be really long but right now, neither of us know.

As I said earlier, Stoch on H4 is nearing oversold levels. And once it gets there, it's a long way towards the overbought level again which will push the pair just a touch higher.

Stoch has just turned down from overbought on daily, might not mean anything.

The slide began at almost the exact same spot and time last year after a similar double top, i would stay close.

You're right. It might mean sweet f@#k all.

Time will tell. But a daily trend does not a monthly trend make. I'm still long.
