2yr Treasury auction of $43B today at 1. This could move the market a little bit. If the auction is good it may prop the dollar a little bit

Long term or short ? I do think that's a good call but it might go up again but it wont stay there long.... end of the week i hope to get good short pips ! I really hope that i am not wrong i already got to know the famous black monday !

u dont have to go against the trend. its better to wait for a retrace and buy or a reversal signal to sell.

Good actions are good for equities, dont forget that the FED is monetising so the better the action the more dollars chasing goods.

Dow has been increasing rapidly for the past three or so hours, about 50 points. I'm surprised not to see EU weaken earlier.

Hey guys the FOMC is rumored to keep interest rates the same...if so, wouldn't it weaken the dollar further and drive EUR up some more?

As of the AM, I have closed out of all my EUR longs....started to short, but actually on the USDCHF side so my swiss longs are equivalent of EUR shorts...

Last auction of 2-year notes apparently had a bid to cover ratio of 2.63
Nothing worth having is easy.

It should go to the top 1.4823 rather down 1.4760 to test break though not enough buyers evident yet . some longs to open soon.

Also, not sure if you are interested in fundamentals as I would like to know your opinion about FOMC tomorrow?

If fed doesn't raise the IR as assumed but they announce withdrawl from QE (quantitative easing) this year, what kind of impact USD might have?

Raising IR (interest rates) for sure is asking for 1000 pip move for any currency but halting or drawing back QE might have negetive impact or positive ? GU had positive impact when BOE said they might consider withdrawl from QE.

The bid to cover ratio shows that there is still strong demand for US Treasuries which is positive for the US$. But with the mood the market is in, I'm not sure if it is going to have much reaction.

There are still two more auctions to go this week. Wednesday 5-year note @ $40 billion and Thursday 7-year note @ $29 billion.

I'm not an expert but I believe that if the Fed says that they are going to withdraw from QE this should be positive for the US$. I can't see them raising interest rates for a while though.

Somebody else might like to correct/expand on what I've said. Good trades.

I am not so confident that it will not break up , anything can happen & actually eu in uptrend so far & the power of buying still intact . so untill & unless the big buyer bosses let it go down & ready to take some drawdown it will stay up & break up .The apparent expanding triangle in M5 tf should break downside though ,last leg e to go top again but not reliable in a M5 pattern.

Just using knowledge to scalp a few pips & not bothering where actually price will go ,so if technically think it will move 100 pips & it does not work then at least go 50% & fail.idea I am working on these days .
