When a country withdraws it's gold, prepare for a new currency. and of course china, via Hong Kong has so started.
When the IMF starts selling gold, as it just has, for reasons it gives, let that be a sign that the IMF is not backing gold to replace the reserve currency.
Instead the IMF will be the new reserve, via SDR.

Always interested to learn about different things including IMF/SDR. There are just so many opinions on it all and I'm not clever enough to work out who I should really listen to.
I'm still trying to find some arguments for US$ strength on the internet but I haven't come across anything convincing.

Yeah, I did comment on it the first time around saying something along the lines of I'm sure there is a man somewhere inside of me screaming to get out. I was sort of hoping that I was the first version rather than the second on the vid

. That's not to say I'm ignorant of everything that goes on, I simply can't place a trade based on it. S&R + trend = buy dips

minus the CB's getting together of course. And no, I didn't show him, because he might start doodling overloaded brains and leave them around the house.I find fundies really interesting and it has helped me in my trading. I used to think the US$ was the bee's knees (few years back) and I used to wonder why I used to get smacked all the time shorting every other currency against it until I discovered fundies.
But they say your chart should tell you everything. Why was most of this forum short down at 1.43 then because I couldn't for the life of me see a short in that area and I'm no expert at chart reading. Oooopppss, there I go again - smack on the hand - I do love little kittens they're so soft and furry ....
