I was just watching that last move on 5m and it was trying really hard to push ahead from OB state. Hence, I think it may be reloading for a stronger push now. YMMV ofc.

You do have to wonder what those NY traders are thinking attacking R1 after it had been tested and survived all day.

I can just see a junior bank trader in London with his hand on the sell button.

He comes R1... sell... again...sell... again... sell.

Either way... eventually... 1.5.

i think we should have begun retrace already, but unfortunatly not,

so i believe 1.4795 or 1.48 will be retrace point.

and hope it goes to 1.4405 to 1.4425

Search your PC for "snipping tool". I don't know I have Vista and there's a search programs box when you hit the windows icon at the bottom left. If you have that just type in snipping tool and it will come up.

It could be whomever is protecting R1 today has options rolling off tomorrow.

If that's the case... there won't be much of a retrace.

I recall reading a article today that 3 very large US banks are protecting 4755 they said enough is enough with euro/usd. Hunting the article down again so i can link it.

not being critical, but what does US make these days to export besides weapons, aircraft, electronics, bad foreign policy and movies?
P.S> i know you're talking about imports, but this is a different question

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy..._United_States

The info re: exports found in the above links may be a little out of date, but it shows that US exports are on a par with the EZ's, while GDP per capita in the US is 50% higher than that of the EZ.

In a state like Washington (where I live) or Mississippi (where I grew up), agriculture is a huge part of the economy, with much of the production destined for export.

You can make what you want of the current state of affairs re: the USD vs. the EUR, but the US has a lot of advantages long-term simply owing to its history and geography. This is still a relatively new country. We have space, room to grow. This country has swallowed up the effluent of Europe for a few centuries and more and there's still plenty of room. There are lots of natural resources that remain unexploited. We might have our problems, but I have not seen any long lines of people waiting to get out of the USA, and, of course, only the opposite has been true over time.

Europe, on the other hand, is crowded and spent. And given her long history of internecine carnage one would have to wonder about the long-term stability of the EU.

China has a huge, industrious, thrifty population but its not a free country. You don't hear about the frequent civil unrest in China because the government has the press on lock-down. Who knows what can & will happen? But sooner or later there are some chickens that could come home to roost there and that might not be very pretty.

And India, well, really....?

Thx Mike for your time to answer.
Someone is protecting R1 because he has options rolling off tomorrow. I don't see the link with "not much of a retrace".
Sorry Mike, I'm learning... So all info is welcome.
