Buffet is an investor and businessman NOT a trader. He has "invested" in FX in the past though. Think it was in 2004. Haven't read anything recent though.

Exactly, and while the prices are at their cheapest, he's getting them at value pricing..the way he knows how! He's also purchasing stocks in his Berkshire Portfolio..

I'll try to find the info.....I think he's doing it in chunks...

I have vague memories of reading that way back then. He lost billions from memory. Was expecting the US$ to tank more than it did.

hey newbies out there. you hear a lot of stuff tonight take it all with a grain of salt. we may go south but its not the trend. you can lose your account here. and even if we are going to turn around it may take a while. and if we do you have lots of time for a trend to develop. i posted some stuff about this area and you would be a fool to blindly follow it. since your gonna more then likely ignore this post at least take a position that will not hurt your account. the trend is up..until its not. i have posted reasons why it may turn here but it could also just be consolidating. i do countertrend trade but with m/m.. and you have to cut a loser before it gets out of hand..i suggest if your gonna trade use a position where 300 pips is you sl and losing 300 pips is no more then 1% of your account. this will cover shorts up 1.500 and longs to 4445 plus a few.. that is if your not scalping. either way dont let trade get away from you..

good luck. weed through the bs. we could just bounce up and down here.. im waiting on oil for an indi

Let us say my vision has been blurred somewhat lately. From what I hear and read the upside for gold has lots of legroom. I am not sure how I have developed such a trend fader bias at this young age. But there must surely be some dips to fade & buy.

I have some cojones de hierro on order from Amazon.com, yeah, the jumbos. But until they come in I am just a watcher...
