guys are there big chances that it goes right through and above 1.472 without falling back when it reaches that point ? what do you think

even i got a shiny DICK of forex and i pretty sure it will work through out my life...just keeping finger crossed

Look, you all know I was trying to get a system that rather works that does not. It's been a full year since every single day I tried and tried and tried and tried. If anyone should give even half effort would probably make it since I am not such a smart guy. It's all about Forex. 8-10 sometimes 20 hrs a day watching charts, testing, programming, scratching and then starting over again. I WILL NOT give it up and I will not talk about it anymore. And since this is my decision this is why I will not be here anymore. Out of respect for others. If it doesn't work I will be back and let you laugh at me. But it doesn't look so. And I just want to spend what seems to probably be my last day here chatting with my friends. It's been a heck of a half year since I am here and probably just because of this forum I kept going on. I want to thank everybody that is here.

Now, older guys know it but just in case anybody forget. Always remember that 0.5% a day profit of your account makes you a millionaire in 10 years with 1000$ starting account. That's where everybody should start in designing a trading strategy.

[EDIT] I call the 1000$ the "Pension Fund"

Where is fiber heading? 1.47 seemed so impossible without any major correction. I'm not feeling comfortable to go long since 1.44 - 1.45 area. But it keep going on, and the bulls seem strong... Whenever it looks like "here are the bears coming", another bull has a strike.

Where will it end? 1.4720? Hmmm... I'm having my doubts too, watch the USD/CHF pair it went below 18/12/2008's low today...

The beautiful thing about this is that the big guys know the psychological toll it's putting on a lot of traders right now....we will never go down, we're going straight to 1.50+ etc.

Just think about all the trailing stops being pulled up from this. All the institutional investors are getting out of their long positions somewhere around this area 1.46-1.4750 and looking months ahead and what positions they should take.

If you had a hundred million dollar account would you be going long from these levels with no real pullback in an overly strung out situation? I wouldn't bet the house on it...... Wait for the retrace it's getting closer everyday.

U.S. ABC Consumer Confidence falls to -49, its lowest reading since August 3rd. Expectation was -45, and previous reading -48

Not really things you'd see in the lavish economy we seem to be having right now.

From June 2006 ( eurusd was ~1.20 area ) till it's all time high at 1.60 took about 2 years in the best economy we've had in decades (or so we thought). Then we go through the worst recession in over 70years.

Somehow we've recovered well over half in 9 months what took 2+ of building to levels that surpassed 1994 from the worst recession since the depression?! I understand inflation and printing money will throw the valuations off..... but come on, the air is very thin up here. We haven't spent too much time historically here.

The next few months/year will be incredibly interesting and totally different then whatever we've seen before. Hold on to your hat. USD isn't going up in flames just yet

No, I'll be around to have some fundamentals talks if ppl don't mind, but it's just that I am really leaving for my wedding and the next week after that I'd be a godfather for some newly weds and two weeks after that I will be a godfather again for my best friend's son (and himself for that matter - 2 in one ) don't know what happens next. So we'll see. The strategy will work allright but let's not talk about it. I make a promise. If and when I hit 1 mil$ I will come here on this thread and make it all public. How's that for a promise?

Wish it was as easy as it is to say it. Sounds easy by saying 0.05% a day, BUT what do you do when when 0.5% is a few grand. Not so easy to pull the trigger on a trade when it can cost you weeks/month worth of profits eh?

My strategy is to not cling to any one strategy. The few things I constantly do in just about every strategy I utilize is constantly place trades. You can't make money if you're not trading. And I don't use stop losses. Sure the swap can eat into you, but I've come up with a way to hedge that also. Lastly, don't get in over your head by opeing up too many trades simultaneously (or by placing too big of a trade).

Those are from my experiences.
