How do you determine this buying pressure? I do see my volume chart showing a decrease in 1 hr tf....is this what you look at?

More often shorts capitulate, and fuel the buying into new highs,
and support the PA when the price falls to a level they can get out close to Breakeven. Longs have no reason to exit a position, until the PA tells them too, and thats usually when there are no buyers, and the shorts have capitulated. Then they become shorts themselves

I think euro is just pricing in dollar inflation. US got a stockflation. They do not have the typical, consumer side inflation since banks kept all the TARP money and gamble it in stocks now hoping mutual funds and retail are gonna jump in. However, the printed money will eventually work its way through the markets and when it hits forex, dollar goes down the drain.
That is exactly what I think. Banks all other the world need to invest the enormous amounts of money they are given via quantitative easing and bailout programs. They also need to cover losses. They just cannot give the money to consumers because the likelihood of default is very high, thus the money went to the commodity market first and then to stock and forex. A bad thing is the banks eventually will have to return the money, and this will cause a new down leg across all assets including this pair.

I think Gold is on its way to 1020 next I think. Its 1007 at the time of writing. Euro should continue to weaken to 1.47. In addition, a strong finish today in equiuties and we'll have a breakout on the s&p 500 targeting about 1200 resistance level next. I'd look for the the s&p to finish the week above 1050 before I'd get to committed though.

Yes. It broke out trendline break, lots of stops taken out most likely, propelling the move up.

I think you mean strengthen to 1.47+++++. We'll see 1.4750 before the end of the week.
