My SL was touched at 4600 so I'm flat ... I don't want to buy at this level so I will wait again for another short ...

Depends on what kind of option it is, who owns it and how much it's worth. If an option needs to be in the money on expiry then you often get traders either trying to protect that price so that it doesnt have a certain value at a certain time. Or you will get traders trying to push price below a certain value in order to make the option worth something or just for the fact they know there will be a lot of support and if broken the spot price will jump to a new level pretty quickly and they can profit from that alone. Generally it just acts like a "magnet" in ranging conditions when nothing else is moving the market.

Inverted H&S has formed. Although I'm seeing a continued slide today, I'm lightening my load to take some profit. Could always add back on the way down.

Here is the inverted H&S. Until negated my profits safer in the bank and won't put that to wok again until pattern is broken.

I think your idea for a med term short is a good one. Honestly I think 2.5 weeks we could see 4300. I'm going to do the same thing, just waiting for a better price. Thats the real gamble, maybe it will come, maybe not.

as long as 1.4601 holds, repeatedly and we stay above, it is a good day
- resistance is turning into support, different from last week.
- today US markets should hit new highs

Well, I am also targeting that same price & I've already taken a position. I normally trade with a big stoploss (atleast as big as the profit I am targeting) & I have yet to close a trade in loss with that. "I" believe we have already reached the top.

my 2 cents...
If it floats, flies, or f%^ks, rent it, it's cheaper.

my idea of intermediate term is a day or 2. More than that for me is long term.

my 2 cents...
4700 is still a chance, but its dwindling with each day. I'm hoping to get short at 4630-40. 150 point sl. Target 4300. I agree its a high probability trade.

Looks like we're about to test 1.4616 and above again.
Where are th big boy sellers. They are holding off. No buyers, no sellers, this could be consolidation phase. 1.4616 to be tested again.
