Someone told me earlier to only concern myself with the lower trend line in an uptrend but im still not convinced,

there could be some pips to be had both ways for a while

rattyo.. here you go.. all minor s/r depending on placement will show importance (blue dotted lines are mid points between levels). also lines are further apart at this level so atr goes up..moves will be bigger.. pink dotted line added is for this up move. they are preditive levels. but s/r will trump the move.. they should be a pretty close predictive area. chart goes to 4906.. but i doubt it. just copy levels and put them on your chart on a 5m.. the pink dotted ones you can use a day or 4hr chart. if they are working you will see long wicks at levels.. i do expect long wicks soon..same red and blue rules.. let me know if they are working for you.. good luck

white line equals blue level in older post.. blue lines least important..red are most important

can't say im not worried about the $$ just a little. haha

Been getting a nice dose of reality for sure. I worked demo accounts with 3 different platforms for the past 5 months. Just killed them all. Was dreaming of lambo's and vacation houses in hawaii haha..

Plop down a fat wad of real money and now im rubbing my a%^$^ from getting kicked down so hard.

Lessons learned I suppose. Still a newbie, and still excited. These forums have been giving a ton of a great information.

For any novices out there, or semi pros, if you took the short I called, learn to trade manage. Entry is one hting, management another. Don't let profit turn into a loss, set to 1 bar hourly candle high or BE, you can always get back in.

OHHH MY GOD........
I open position short yesterday at 1,4325 and i didn't use stop loss because i think the price was so high and will go down...
And now I open my platform and I get floating loss until 200pip..
I'm very shocked now..
what happen guys??? Can any one tell me what happen today with US dolar??

Should I cut my position or hold my position and hope it will go down??

Atlast,

DO you see this making a double top at 4530 before going down. I was stopped at BE at 4513 as this was my Short entry. Or do you see another Leg up? Earlier you said no to 3 breakouts. Thanks

i dun even remember what profit is at this stage
4520 seems to be holding though..if the t bills are in demand, how big of a drop u expect?i m short from 4500..just wondering bout tp and sl

It broke out by 10 pips, but quickly fell off. The target is median line. The risk is overextended move to take out stops at 1.4550. I am holding short already partial TP and Sl above today's high. If taken out, another entry is break of 1 hour candle low.
P.S. according to my charts it should not get past 1.4524 if it is to setup the TL short. 1.4524 therefore another low risk entry +- 3 pips

So a BO of 4530 is not good for a LONG to 4550? and then Short at this level? I am not clear on the other entry at 1hr low. You mean only enter Short on 4483 break? Sorry not understanding.....

To all who are going short and getting their head cut off and getting frustrated there is no indication to short this thing yet.

Stay on the side line and wait until it runs it's course. There is big money pussing this higher with knowing that it will go higher before it goes lower.

TP below R3 1.4434 depending on the time it takes to get there.
The auctions haven't benn held yet, I think in 30 min. Not completely sure, but that's the info I just checked google. Anyone else have better info as I've been distracted a bit last hour.

IMARICHI, I am taking my key as the upper trendline in the 1 hour pitchfork I showed in previous chart. Classically you wait for the break below the candle as it touches, but in my case I took it on the touch as I am looking at something else. The SL is today's high.
If the high is taken out I expect 1.4550 as risk, but you would have to wait for a good candle PA pattern to set up a good trade. Look into Vic's 2 B sell as a good signal setup. I would not go long above the TL. Nothing wrong in waiting for proper set-up.
