Looks like we'll range for a while. Can see small upward TL on E/U 15M ... nothing crazy. People must be still processing yesterday's drop. Probably no real direction will NY open.

Mackey, You may notice "Peaks" and "Valleys" in a chart. If next peak is higher than the previous one it is called Higher High (or HH). Similarly, if next valley is lower the the previous valley it is called Lower Low (or LL). There also are Lower Highs (when next peak is shorter) and Higher Lows when next valley is no deeper than previous one.

Argg, reviewed what happened to my trades overnight and kicking myself ... SLed out of EUR/AUD short by less than a pip ... basically I get SLed and price plummets. Happens to me all the time lately, SL by 1pip and then 100pip move to my TP but w/o me. This is getting ridiculous ... three times this week already and a couple more last week.

daily macd is opening up nicely for a good move down to 1.3970 (next few days)....will wait for further confirmation after the silliness from that stupid ADP report.....

Update: The low of the day has held up well so far, now recent PA means the low may now be taken out. Time will tell. I am now short scalp.

No, I just got signal to buy, so I close my position. Didn't take that buy signal, but after few minutes re-entered short and got those 4 bloody pips back!

Leave a little, push SL further away prefarably after drawing some s/r lines on the time frame you are trading
Reducing position size can also allow more sl distance

Thanks. It just in recent days that I've really noticed this. I am doing it pretty much that way, a few pips above/below a nice R/S, day's high/low. SLed by 0.5-1 pip, on nice and chunky positions ... making me eat the R w/o the other R.

Enter a position with two or three sizes. Take out one or two in profit and move SL to BE. SL should be well outside the "danger zone".
