EUR/USD may be coming around for a setup.
If we look at the Daily chart we can see a nice rhythm in the uptrend.

I use Alpari and here is my chart. The previous 4H candle is a hammer.

Hi Rastaman,

Thanks for the alert. From reading a lot of your posts, I know you will not trade prematurely, but just be careful on this one. It could trade up 100 pips to the upper D1 trendline, but with UK bank holiday, price could just as easily slide 100+ pips down to the 50sma.

You guys know a lot more than I. Just something I saw.

I just looked at my cal and saw LO was open but didn't realize it was a bank holiday.

Very wise advice, indeed. Always be aware of Bank Holidays, as diminished liquidity often diminishes the effectiveness of technical analysis (which assumes that a market is both freely traded and highly liquid).

Also, this week is, for most Americans, the last week before school starts (though some schools have already started), and it is a very popular vacation week. Price action may be susceptible to large, erratic, exaggerated moves, including break ups and break downs that fail to follow through (look at the Yen pairs right now - AJ, EJ, GJ, and UJ have each triggered SOnicR longs - will they follow through? I don't know, but as for myself (and I speak for myself only) I wouldn't want to bet one way or the other today or this week). Fewer traders equals diminished liquidity equals unsafe trading conditions, not unlike swimming in the ocean churnned by riptides after a Hurricane.

I am standing down this week. Only the very best SonicR's are likely to entice me, and even then, I hope I have sense enough to trade my demo. To protect myself from myself, I will be shutting down shortly and spending the day away from the computer. Unless the powers that be reimpose fixed exchange rates, the markets will still be here for me next week. And even then, SonicR works on any freely traded, highly liquid market, including stock index futures, crude oil, etc.

Be careful out there.
