Morning guys

I have a general question about stop loss orders if any one wants to entertain an answer.
What are they and how might they influence price????

My reason for asking is yesterday on my fx platform they recommended putting stop loss orders on at 1.63108 when price was at 1.61991 ????

My thinking is, if there are enough brokers recommending these levels and large funds placing orders at these levels would the price naturally migrate to them?

Next if the price reaches these levels and triggers the orders is this not liekly to naturally move the markets in the direction of the orders?

If the question is inappropriate EO I will happily remove it

Pippi, I know you've only been trading live since earlier this year, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone catch on and be as successful as you in such a short time. I'm sure Infinity and EO were good right out of the gate, but I wasn't around then.

Just bought the 15min 21ema bounce (40 pips banked and sl now above BE)

For you fib fans, here's a retracement cycle we're in atm. We've almost hit the 50% retracement earler. Maybe she'll continue north to hit the 50 or 61.8. It's Friday, so who knows!

In my eyes, we just broke the morning range, retested the bottom at 6330, if we fail to get back up above it, we will continue south. Critical place in price right now. Let this working m15 candle develop, then you'll see the light.

When it's on a gradual movement yes, when she blasts off, I like to enter off the 5 on pullbacks looking for topping/bottoming indication to reverse. I've found that normally when price blasts off, pulls back into the 5, goes back to the high/low it just came from and possible higher/lower, then pulls back to the 5/10. When I see price start coming into the 10, then I know I need to be looking for a reverse on my position from the top. The 10 will send it back up there, but usually just a wick, not a full candle, keeping SL above the high/low it came from.
