DislikedGood Morning Sonikers,
Just a reminder that you shouldn't neglect your S/R analysis. I learned to use simple black and white candlestick charts from a mentor of mine. TAH also, I believe, has found that on the B&W charts, PA and S/R are more easily identifiable.
Here is a series of my EU S/R charts.
I think you will see that the SonicR short stood out in bold relief when PA was viewed on the BW.Ignored
DislikedBoth setups zig zagged again after initial Ep set. But nevertheless, the Ep areas still seem to have held up valid (though, I admit, DD's EU analysis and patience yielded higher Ep on EU).Ignored

DislikedEU M15: Not to make too fine a point of it, but notice DD's Ep also is confirmed by TL break. Note, too, that technically SonicR entry is a bit lower.....wait for Dragon exiting candle to close, wait for PA to head back to/re-enter Dragon and then come back and pass that candle's close. Note, at that point, the ema Dragon is starting to turn down (clue).Ignored
Dislikedif i may...
it was mainly an issue of S/R. there was a support around the DS1 area in your chart (see the bottom left part of your chart).
also, USD (USD Index) has been strengthening.Ignored
DislikedThanks DD
So,should I just sort of reference H4 & D1 as long term and look to H1 for more immediate trend and S&R?Ignored
DislikedAnd now that lower support has been broken, where is the next likely target?
I consider any situation where wave analysis supports a trade to be a SonicR. When I am unsure, I defer to the indi's. But there are many times where wave analysis will point to a trade before the indicators, which lag, catch up to price action. This is not Classic SonicR. I would say I divide SonicR into three types:
1) Classic SonicR: SonicR as Sonic teaches it, where price action is confirmed by the indicators.
2) SonicRentry: Where PA gives us a chance to get...Ignored

DislikedPrice is, at this very moment, at a point where a pure S/R trader might be tempted to sell EU with a 15-30 pip stop, anticipating that price will find renewed selling pressure, and revisit the 1.420x level to test that support.Ignored
DislikedI have also attached the M15 with Sonic view, where you will see that price is testing resistance at the M15 Sonic Dragon.
Interesting how often PA and Sonic Indi's line up together very often.Ignored
