Hey Gator,

Looks like that "technical work" showed itself last nite/yesterday.
Really didn't expect it to run away that far. Missed a good short op.
Was busy tinkering anyway, so it was all good.

Look what they did to this channel. It validates the upper TL,
but really only in hindsight, and since were on top of it now, I can't sell this yet.

Need downward momentum below 4280 AND 4250 to get the shorty freaky thingy going.

Nuthin' yet. At the DP like a bump on a log.

By the way...

That WAS an 886 retracement from on the run up yesterday and should have been sold
with an extremely tight stop, just above Friday's High. I was nowhere to be found.

I'm such a stoopid monkey sometimes....

I woke up at 0430 just in time to sell it from .4335 or so and I already cashed that in for 40 pips. The high life...

OK, oil & stock futures are going up and E/U is stuck under the DP. What does it mean?

there are others..if you believe 80/85 $ oil is in the cards id buy the eu valleys.. but be prepared for a stock sell off then oil sell off.. this economy can not support 80/85 oil so im a big bear.if im wrong i have levels ill buy at but not now at this level..im riding the wave both ways.. just with a smaller position going up... head fake on bs may be 49 area.. im selling there and 22... we got a limited number of rides on this elevator. and right or wrong its better to get on at the top. i expect german news to raise this pair because of europes cash for clunkers (just speculation on my part).. ill be ready for a sell after when oil inventories come out.. but i will wait for the dust to settle.. i hold a small short now im about to exit..till after german news

A couple of the more profitable traders that I personally know, not from message boards,
but actually have spent face time with, are Austrailian fellows.
One is a Londoner transplanted to OZ and the other is a native.
You'll guess which one can drink who under the table (hint: 1/6 of a gill is for babies)

Anyway, I'm always interested in what Australia is doing in the forex world
and the take away from what is a unique perspective on the rest of the world's money.

Euro is closely watched there, just like everywhere else (although yen gets alot of attention).

Looking at Yoorow against AUD tells me that values are about back to where they were
a year ago, before the particulate fecal material hit the rotilla.

170~ it was and 170~ it is.

There's not much carry yield there, so it's about one economy vs another.

I want to study this for a while longer because I think it's hinting at a turn in the EURO coming soon.

On the other side of the looking glass is the swissy.

Versus the USD....litterally fighting for it's life right in here.

Kind of a left foot, right foot thing. If you walk 40 feet over there and your right foot is
now 40 feet over there, it's only logical that your left foot is about the same distance away too.
(unless you're a numbskull and forgot to bring it with you.)
So goes these two, the euro and the swiss franc, not withstanding the swings in Euro Swissy.

Not a day goes by (Saturdays and Sundays included) that I don't look at this.

When it changes, one day soon I hope, the market will have begun it's next move.

Okay I revised that count from the other night to factor in this last push of strength
we saw in the last 24 hours of so. If I see some strength next couple hours,
I may attempt to counter it with a small sell, stop above yesterdays high,
for a retest of yesterday's low. I'd like to see it 14200 just to test the orders down there.
Upside, breach of yesterday's high would put me back on the side.

Otherwise, a straight break of 4280 might just get it rolling without any more strength for retrace.

Good old fashion selling. That's what I'd rather see. Market will choose, however.
Standing by ready. Have my trading hat on. Not the retarded one, the real one.

It's gotta go somewhere.... Previous highs and lows are just as good an indication as any.

I think we'll see another spike come German news. Will take the op to send in "short" commando brigade to clear the way. If we can get some downward momentum at some point it will start hitting long sl, which should help the pair down.

Also, waiting for cable to bottom out. 1.63 seems it. Time to shoot up!

Toshi, IMO the market has already begun its next move. The money has shown where it's headed, and I am going along for the ride to 1.4500. Of course it can change anytime, but I have today as a big day, either way. let's see. Perhaps you won't have to look this weekend.
