oh yea those cymbals would help wake up them bears @153.60 level on my dragon bro lol. Bloody hell it's the 5th test that level has had and it stood. Tho we had a new low since august 17th (by 2 pips can you believe that!), I suppose we'll have a chance of a continuation tomorrow.

I have put the Shi-channels back on my chart, and if you look at the daily, we are at the bottom of an uptrend. I know i have seen posts in the PDF, or maybe from Ken that show channels, so I dont think your totally against channels, but please let me know otherwise.

Now that being said, I am sure that the trade was probably not correct based on all of the bashing, and since the predominant flow has been negative today. I was not able to trade during the morning, other than checking on the EJ shorts (BTW, thanks for pointing those out, I got in at 135.15, out of the 1st have at 134.5x, and out of the 2nd half at 134.10 area) so I was probably just too anxious for a trade.

I use channels on all my charts without a doubt along with trendlines. But, look at this chart, channels are all based upon the eye of the drawer. One could contest that since we broke the trendline in the middle of the chart, that now it's time to go back down. Their are so many arguments for direction, that I just don't give a shit. It's going to move east and in it's journey it's going to ebb and flow letting price action lead the way.

I was going to post about IBFX when I saw you wanted to go long and short at the same time, but as you are already with them, even better, could you not open a second account with them and then transfer some of your funds from the account you have now to the new one. As there is now no minimum deposit for any of their accounts you should be able to do that.

I completely agree its all about the eye of the beholder and there are many way to argue the trend and when its broken.

At the end I am just looking to learn this threads method of trading. My execution will have its mistakes, and am hoping that you guys would/will provide feedback as to why my idea was bad, not just that it was bad idea.

I could but I have a pretty small account and doing so still doubles the margin requirements. I have thought about it though and figured once I built this account up a little bigger I might.

For the most part, I'm pretty content with trading just one way as "most" of my trades don't last that long. But every once in a while, when locked in nice profit one way, it would be nice to have the option of trading EO's way in the other direction as price ebbs and flows...lol

As I'm learning I try to stay focused on just 1 or 2 pairs but I guess it's also possible to trade pairs that oppose one another.
