time will tell... without stocks or some news event we dont get higher then todays high.. tuesdays sentiment may be extremily important...

I only wanted to say that it's so easy to say that EZ zone = US zone, as if you look at these two in depth they are completely different. Europe is also more Asia minded than US, you can see that in projects like Galileo (satellite navigation). Indeed Korean cars will do the same like Japanese cars did years ago. KIA gives 7 years warranty on their cars, not bad, I don't see any European brand doing this.
Well...if we're talking about cars here's my view: he who has the best maintenance infrastructure over a geographic area will sell more cars. This is why cars from japan are doing good in USA but poorly in Europe. So far, maintenance is cheaper on a european produced car in europe. US cars can't make it into Europe because they are too big, and they consume way too much fuel (not talking about meeting EURO 4 - 5 regulations). And somehow I don't digg an european consumer buying a 5 year no fault Toyota when he knows that after 5 years exactly they are going to throw that car to trash. I still see 30 yrs old cars running on european roads. This is the european consumer. Of course Mercedez, BMW and other high end german producers will suffer with this crisis, but koreea and japan already tried an entry into European countries and failed miserably when Renault pulled out a cheap shit (Logan) and they plan for Logan to have the same sucess as R12 which was produced worldwide in 12 million pieces. Makes you think huh? Actually the truth is that the German car programme that was supposed to save German car producers was a big hit for Renault. I see every day trains loaded with Logans heading fro Germany and many, many other locations. I want to see Kia beat a 7,500 EUR car. Besides, maintenance is way cheaper on Logan (~50 EUR a revision or so). Wouldn't buy one though

No, actually not, that's how I got caught on the wrong side of that move!

I trade trying to find a trend on the one minute and entering (or scaling in) using pivots. I hate to lose, so I scale in and have been successful "saving" some trades.

I'm really interested in trying to find out where we are going based on where orders are and where they AREN'T.

I have a cool little scalping strategy based on that. Do with it what you want, but I've enjoyed reading this board everyday (don't always agree with everyone), and just wanted to pass it along.

I've seen this on EUR/USD, happens every now and then, but a pretty nice setup. On your chart, daily pivots and horizontal lines for 00 psych levels. Sometimes you'll notice a pivot point right over a 00 level (when going down), and a pivot point right below a 00 level when going up. Usually works best if it's 4-5 pips or less between the two.

Place a buy (or sell order), a couple of pips on the other side of the 00 level. If it blows through the pivot and the 00 level, you can usually grab 7-10 pips with a super, super tight SL. charts attached, the setups are to the right of the yellow vertical line. Backtest it yourself to verify.

We had one this morning.

Bought @ 4294. We'll see in the next hours the outcome. A second buy at a lower level is not out of the question - I say this so people understand how I trade. I expect the payout in the next 8 hours or so.

Yeah. It's not something of national pride cause all the money goes to Renault not to me, but it's just that I am close to it so more news about it get to me and I also see the trains that I mentioned.

yep europe has to re-invent itself.. china, india korea and so on will destroy e-zones car industry.. not because better vehicles but cheaper... e-z will not be able to compete with cheap labor..and like i said an aging population with less workers making good wages to support them.. you may still make cars but production will decrease.. it will happen in all industries.. since europe is not the bread basket nor an abundance of natural resouces the picture is not pretty..im sure the the chindias will start making airplanes also...you still got tourism but high eu wont help it... europe like u.s. gave it all away to the elite so they could get the worlds sweatsops to make .50$ tennis shoes. and sell them back to you for $50.00.. you the strong gave it all away for a few elite..so did u.s. wrapped in the flag... another myth....created by the controllers of the media..

they have some cheaper then that..i dont know the conversion in kilos. but with 100k mile 10 year waranty.. 8k u.s. so you do the math...so if they did it in europe cars could be smaller and cheaper.. it dont matter what europe drives.. it slows europes exports..because others are taking market share..

Well... I have yet to see a car with 160k Km(~100K miles) 10 year warranty at 6000 EUR!!! Anybody from Europe seen that yet? What's the emission rating and safety rating on that car? I think this may be the only thing preventing it from entering Europe market. With that offer Renault would go fishing. Hell, all european car producers will go fishing.

What car make is that?

not sure about safety on kia...and emissions are a given cali has tuff emission standards and they pass.. they do make a hydai with good safety and same 10 yr warranty but it cost more..but may be in line with 11k euro...

This SUV ( Great Wall, Hover) gives you the same comfort and a better waranty than a Toyota Fortuner for 1/3 of its price.

Well, did a quick check. Cheapest KIA I can buy in Romania is 13K Euro and cheapest Hyundai (same class as Logan) is close to 10K... Don't think they put those prices so high if they don't have to. Both cars are the same class as Logan.

If I'd have to make a pick at a car is Skoda Octavia (the old version). I owned that car and I loved it. Now it's close to 10K euro is IMHO beats everything on the market: space, resistance, fuel consumption, maintenance price.
