did a 4h on eu in this last up move and ph4303 is the number i got..so maybe we do retreat some..it definately overshot that number..another reason i wasnt gonna buy that top.. i think next week mon/tues will be big..

That sounds good to me although i think close will be right around 1.4292
50% fib of the morning move.
70 would be good for me after bailing, fearing a real big move, on the long after the drop from 4375 went short on a bounce at 1.4327. original tp was 1.4218 then moved it up above 1.4250 hoping to be out before the weekend, not looking real strong right now.

One of those astray street dogs I mentioed in my last night's post bit me in the butt. However, this bite was no deeper than what I was willing to take.

Would like to add to Jay's above statement that " because I know that I would be wrong on my own terms lesser number of times than yours - and this is all I want from my trading"

Technicals favor Euro move down - Except - watch for bear trap formation, shows up good on 15 min chart.. We've been getting hit by these again and again. They have been good for setting higher highs at the least, and preceding breakouts at the worst. I'm thinking maybe another spike north before all this is done.

Anyway I closed my short for a loss-enoughs enough for one day. Somedays you grab the bull by the horns, others you bend over and take it where it counts..

We saw what happened when the London Desks took profit around 11 AM, a pretty big downward swing, the big question is: did the NY desks took the chance and adjusted their positions around the same time or will the do sometime this afternoon before 4 PM?

If they have not taken some profit yet for week we may see another 50-70 pip drop when they do it, I think.

You think E/U will fall down next week?
If I read the Gold charts and use them for E/U. E/U price atm should be 4260... Mostly E/U is lagging, but things can turn and maybe there will be another move north for gold.

Shorts are looking too good to be true, it look so obvious that I'm suspicious.

It wonders me that there wasn't any resistance AT ALL at 1.43. Isn't any rounded number a psy level that should turn the trend a bit for a while? Or maybe I don't really get what psy numbers are?

I am talking about the bulls taking profit, they are the ones who have controlled the market all week, therefore if they are to take some their profits they will be closing long positions and not short ones.

Fair enough Chicky..I take it all in stride..winners and losers..Money Management is the key, and I always mind mine..I've been ahead except when I started incorporating this new analysis into my thinking-maybe I'll shelf it and go back to regular technical stuff making me 6% a week..todays move caught many by surprise..how do the Chinese say it-may you live in interesting times..well at least we got that much, even if they are interesting in a crooked sort of way..Peace my friend
