Morning folks.

Just looking at this large H&S pattern building on USD/JPY, 25 mins before Tokyo opens.

If it breaks,looks like it could be good for 60-70 pips, if price is rejected by Daily pivot.

Yes, I can see that LONG is a possibility also, it has tested the DP enough times and sonic tunnel is not saying Short, right now.

Basber, if it goes SHORT, is it likely to make the sonic wave or just do a Chris cross breakthrough? Probably make a wave before it goes Long will it?

PS: A quick look at the Cal seems to indicate a few good news releases for JPY to support your LONG.


PSS: What was I thinking, this is USD/JPY so any good news reports for Yen will go against USD!!!!

Rastaman, Basber......the 'head' was created by news induced PA anomaly, so it may not qualify as H&S. CCI is green and above basis, and PA so far remains above Wave centerline (Dragon). Even on H4 things look positive after the bounce up off of TL. Appreciate more of your thoughts on this.

Anyway, Pleaaaaaase Dont Get Confused, It's My Opinion
In These Situations (When News Had Such a Effect On Price) There Are 2 Ways To See The Price :
1) Ignoring The Movement That Been Made By News (Light Blue Line)
2) Don't Ignore The Move (Yellow Line)

If You Don't Ignore The News Movement, You'll Have a Wave Formation, But If You Ignore The News Movement, You'll Have a Nice Triple Top. And Both Are Good Setups. But If You Want To Go Short, Wait For The Price To Reach The Red Dot. In That Case, Daily Pivot Is Broken, Short Term Trend Is Broken, And It's More Safe There. And I'm Sure If The Candle Closes Below The Tunnel Dragon, It's Surely Around The Red Dot.

EU: M15, this type of pennant tends to break up. H4, PA at bollinger band pinch breakout area with CCI looking to cross up. All in all, if this goes up, it could give a nice run.....maybe at least to the 1.4400 level, which is around the 162% FE level of the pinch, or maybe even to 1.4500, which is the 262% FE level of the pinch.

Basber obviously nailed USD/JPY in the right direction.

It was interesting to see volume come into the trade but then, nothing really came of it. Almost like a fake out, with no real wave formation being shown.

It is pushing the 38.2 fibo right now and I will be interested to see how this works out.

Sonic would likely suggest, now that PA has broken above Dragon, that we wait for a pullback to the dragon before entry, which I believe would be the Sonic Standard Operating Procedure. What I see is, even if we get such a pullback, the marked entry area is likely to be as applicable then, as now. PA has stalled at the Daily mR1 area. It may pullback and later, with more volume, attempt a breakout up thru that area. Who knows for sure? And more comments certainly welcomed on this.

Depending on your point of view, the wave could be a large one.....

Thanks for the input, I will be watching this and keeping an eye on NOV, just to get a feel for it.


M5 looks like it already made the wave and is on its way.

UJ M15: Daily R1, which is the FE 262% level off of the bollinger band pinch area, seems a likely target for this. After that, the 424% FE level...
