Hi,

I am new to this forum but have been trading forex for almost 16 years. Just wanted to give my 5 cents about USD/JPY. Today the pair made a nice comeback from the "brink of disaster" .. support areas near 94,40-94,50 held even this time ...

HOWEVER, technically speaking I would incline to be cautiously bearish .. would not be surprised to see a sell-off provided that EUR/USD is able to clear the overhead resistance areas and/or stock markets do correct

not much going on this week, I closed my long and went short, maybe I will have better luck this time got no clue which way it's gonna go

Just another loss, maybe this week will be better. Probably I'll wait now and try to short it @98.00-99.00 areas, things change quickly recently on this pair.

Hi

This year it was trending really good in January, February up to middle of march and from then seems that taking longer term trades pays off with nice amount of pips.

When it moves it really does move. Used to be fav pairs not long ago

a few things to note IMHO, this does not go on and on like EU and GU, that is to say there are a large number of 50 % or even 61 % retraces after every major move.

I demo traded this pair a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, with very limited technical knowledge. However, retraces were quite noticeable even without using technicals. I think it was somewhere in June 2007, when this pair kicked me in the teeth.

Then decided to move to EUR/USD (first demo then real money) because of attractive spread cost. Now trying to move to bigger timeframes and therefore spread cost would be insignificant. Maybe this pair has much to offer on weekly.

I don't use fibo, I am sure It works very well for You. In the end We get same impresion "When it moves it really does move"

Last two days It made a sharp move down, maybe soon there will be opportunity to enter long.

I got to see were It goes first. Right now It goes down and am waiting until it turns, who knows maybe tomorrow maybe in 2-3 days or maybe there will develop opportunity for Short I don't see a good entry on my charts now, so am waiting

We are in for a down move until the 92 area at least I wouldnt buy any time soon.
We should be seeing 94.49 very soon.
