The number will have to be bad and I'm guessing it will be good enough to sustain this bullish momentum.

hello guys...if I want to look at a 8hr chart in metatrader is there a way to customize that period. Currently there is only 4h and then daily.

Yes Ragu,

use the script " period converter "

just drop in onto an hourly chart, a window will open up.
for ExtPeriodMultiplier change value to 8, or how many ever you want.
(may have to click "OK" twice to accept the new settings)

Then goto File, Open Offline, scroll down to where you see the pair, H8
such as EURUSD, H8.......or whichever.

Keep both charts open and, because it's a running script, the offline chart will update tick by tick.

Will help further if you need. GL

Ragu, make a FF search for "period converter", we where talking about that in the THV thread also.

Right, hey, what does that pay? - I bet even I could do that. What I meant was, they probably didn't have to buy much then with the pa weak as it has been....

I got one that collects MT4 tick data too, but it's a pain in the butt to maintain or work with.
Plus, most all the docs are in russian, so I'm not sure if when I run the script if I'm hacking
my own computer and sending all my email and personal data to the KGB.

Ninja has a free Gain data feed with x-ticks and 1 sec charting and it's a ton easier to manipulate.

Does anyone look to XAU/USD as a leader for EUR/USD?

I noticed 2 nights ago the USD strengthened vis-a-vis Gold, absolutely tanked, then a few minutes later EUR/USD followed suit. How direct is the correlation between the two pairs?

Sorry to be unclear, for clarification my point was that the Eur/USD held up for a bit and did not react, then capitulated in the same direction as the XAU/USD. Happened a couple of times recently so I'm wondering if XAU price action can be used as a lead-out indicator for EUR/USD.
