eo thanks for the chart. so in that example your ma's had little to do with the decison or is it just that the ma's are a constant intrigal part of your decison, another words if they are buched or fanned ets.

i like how you looked at that candle i never heard it explained like that. the bulls were buying but they had little steam and the bears were able to take that higher high back into the body of the previous candle which shows the bears were getting stronger and the bulls were weaker.

The ma's did not have anything to do with my entry. PA on the h4, m15 and S/R was my driver for the entry.

Longs on GU are still a concern to me, if you take one, keep your SL close. We did go 1 pip lower in the current h1 than the prior h1. We could still get a DBLHC on the h1, but she could still drop her pants farther. That damn 1 pip is in my eye and it's all about the details. 1 pip can throw it off easily! I've seen it and said it before in the past.

I'm with you on this. I keep an eye out for lower time frame divergence signals (not quite confident enough to handle candles on their own yet) and there have been a couple for small gains but nothing worth taking yet IMO. I would still target 740 before taking on a new long. Here's my 4h from 30m ago and the slightly lower wick you pointed out might invalidate any chance of a dblhc (among other things)

I see buyers sitting on the h1 and h4 between 6780-6760. SL would need to be below 6740.

We are at the bottom of the 4H channel and not far away from S3 I see this a crucial area for GU she breaks the channel and S3 I see her continuing down

Crunch time right now between long and shorts. I'm still favoring my shorts. Look at your m15 and notice how price and the m15 5 are on top of each other. That damn 1 pip could keep the momentum moving south. My shorts would like that, but my longs will get closed out at 6780 if that's the case. No worries. I've had that position since Sunday and I just added to it this morning and booked some more good pippage on it.

Can I ask a question please?

This may seem a bit daft but here goes

With the 35/50 cross and reverse, do the ma's have to be the correct way round to validate the trade? e.g. should it cross the 35 then the 50 to trigger the entry? I've noticed a couple of times when the ma's are playing catch up that they can be the wrong way round. I hope that makes sense.

It's the close across the 35 that is key. If we've been charging north and we close across the 35 and the 50's are above it, it's more confluence to go back short, still keeping your SL in tact of course. I consider the 35 to be home plate. (MA's follow price though, please understand this)

We close this m15 candle down here below 6792, we should continue to our decent.

EO, do you have two accounts or one you can hedge with. I notice you have both longs and shorts going. I'm with IBFX, no hedging allowed...lol

I have three accounts as of this week. I've never hedged in my life bro. I'll take the loss and move on to the next trade.
