No, I waited it out, and never quite got a signal. There is still hope though.

Now I am waiting for some of the greens to jump on the daily and 4 hr. Especially the daily. Watching the GY and EY especially. Might get a small afternood trade yet.

Hope it happens, I want to trade bad. The trade monkey is on my back and riding me like a rented mule!

I wonder. Are you using it on a standard demo? It might not work on that. OR the presets profit lock would probably be too small. That might explain the 76. It might be in the coding....

I very much appreciate your help for the profit protect. I am using Julius's 2ProtectAccount[4a] for my demo account. It's quite well now. Thanks Julius to share those great stuff 2 us.

One more thing I am not sure how you put the trigger for trade. So far I use Basket_Indicator and BuySellBasket for entry. Sometimes it's fine, but sometimes it's not. Can you talk about yours?

Glad I could help, Rain.

Not too sure I can help with that. I have IBFX. The only thing I can say is that you might try going to the thread download list (click on the paperclip icon you see in the upper right hand corner), and scroll through it and look for the lastest version. Down load it and try it. But the scripts at the beginning of the thread are probably updated. You might try deleting them, and re downloading in case they have been corrupted somehow.

I also use the buysell basket scripts for entries. I do recall having a few glitches while trading demo, that I am not having now.

I think it may be because the server gives preference to live accounts over demos. If you are opening a trade, and the server needs the room for a paying customer, it will drop you in favor the them. Seems like i have heard that somewhere before.

Mine would skip a pair or two once in a while. (of course when it does, you can go in and manually open the missing pairs). Doesn't do it now.

That's all I can think of.

Sorry Rain, I misunderstood. I will try to post you something later. That's the kind of question I like since it gives me a chance to talk about myself, and I LOVE to talk about myself. LOL.
I hope you and others can point out improvements and things I have overlooked.

Remember as stated before, I am hardly expert in this, but I have had some really good success and am wanting to share. I only trade basket, so can't explain trading jumpers.

I don't want to sound like I am giving lessons, or set myself up as an expert. Just want to give back to the thread.

got some pretty big fundementals coming out of Europe over the next couple hours. Perhaps that might might kick us out of these stubborn ranges.

Turned out to be quite a ride. Up about 250 - 300 pips. Just about to manually lock some profit when European Fundimentals hit. Trade was taken to (minus ) -approximately 300 in a period of 30 seconds.

Missed being stopped out by just a tiny bit. (by this time, you are not trading, you are gambling. Hour later, was approaching break even. Then US unemployment claims hit. Pushed trade to about 250 pips profit. Manually locked in 100 pips. Retraced and stopped out with 100 pips profit.
This was pure luck.

You have solid buys on top 7 slots, and solid sells on bottom 7 slots. This would be a LONG at the moment. Since I don't know what it looked like earlier, I can't say it would be a reversal, or just coming out of a retracement to continue long.

Has your IA had time to settle? It takes a day or two.

Is it safe to trade? You might try to stand aside for a while and watch it. If the buys and sells start filtering into each other's end territory, it could be a reversal to short. watch the movement of the anchors especially.

My advice to learn would be take notes of movements of the buys and sells, take a lot of screen shots like this, and open trades according to your best guess as to long or short. Refer to posts on the thread that discuss anchors trade entries. Don't worry about whether it wins or loses. You can learn from both. When trades end, and you either get stopped out or target is hit, compare your notes, and screen shots, so you can learn to identify possible set ups. Be systematic

As I went through the thread for the second time, I copied and pasted all the posts I thought were important into my word processor, organized them, and sort of made my own textbook, or manual.

Don't be discouraged if a lot of your practice trades are losers this week. This is a really though trading week for this system, since it is mostly in a tight range.

Hope I am not being too instructive. Remember, I am learning too.

Here is a screen shot of what the Orest looked like most of the day. Yesterday. I have Highlighted what columns I have been using, and for what purpose.

I would point out that I don't put as much emphasis on the 30 day column. Also, you can judge volitility by the hourly or 4 hour. If the pairs are flying all over the place on these, I have been standing aside.

Notice that on all the time frames from daily and up, the same group of pairs are pretty much in charge. THe GY is leading the way. Also, the anchors are all the right color. Also, they tend to be yen pairs. The yen is getting the crap kicked out of it.

The daily and the weekly was changing sentiment all day. Especially the daily. I stood aside all day because of this.

This is the ORest when the trade was entered. I happened to look at Orest just before bedtime, about 0400 GMT.

THe hourly and 4 hr are behaving much more nicely with the pairs changing places very smoothly and not tending to jump.

These same group of buy pairs are still in charge from the daily timeframe up. Also, all anchors are right color. This was my entry LONG

This is a retrace that happened during the trade (I think this is the right one, but if it isn't, it looked a lot like this).

This is what happened when the European Findies came out. Remember how orderly the chart looked when I went into the trade? Well, it went from looking like that to looking like this in a period of less than a minute.

This was almost a 500 pip swing.
From daily timeframe down, all anchors have been changed.
Also, the Long time frames are still intact and hardly even budged.

(at this point, on this trade, there is no strategy involved. So close to being stopped out might as well see what happens)

Here is another sample of what I think a possible entry might look like. I am sure there is a lot more information that can be gleaned from the Orest. You guys have any ideas?

you are absolutely right. This week is really hard for trading except Monday.
For my IA, It has been opened on 31rd July.

It will continue until before the close of this week. For now it is struggling, but positive. There are 5 jumpers and the account is dominated by longs. I am hoping that it will reach the Ideal Position of 7 buys at the top and 7 sells at the bottom. When that happens we must be ready to shift our trades to sells because the Ideal Position is the signal we have reached the apex.

The above is from T101's document. Yesterday I saw the ideal position, so i think it's a reversal.

Hey Azerus,

The difference is that in the first chart, I was waiting for the EUJY and the AUJY to jump. If you look at all the longer timeframes, you see that the yen is getting the crap kicked out of it.
in the second basket, where I entered, the green YEN pairs are all in place all along the indicator.

This is what I think.. . . follow the yen. I think that is what mostly makes this basket work in the first place. Get all the yen where they belong, and the basket should move.

I think I saw a little about that by someone on the thread somewhere. They were saying Follow the EUJY.

ON the later chart, I had all the yen in place. It would have been nice to have the other two greens to jump, but the weak yens will make the LONG basket profitable.

THere are more reasons that Julius picked these pairs, but I haven't been able to wrap my mind around it yet. What to you think?

Besides, I had a trading monkey on my back. I wanted to trade.

This system is very clever isn't it?
