For those of us short, we don't want to see this m15 close like it is right now (Pin/Hammer), we want it to close like the prior m15 candle, fuller body with a bottom wick that is less than the body.

Ok, and you find that 35 pips for GU beyond the close of the bar through the 35 is generally enough to trigger all that.

See how the bulls are not willing to give it up easily? Now, I want to see the m15 35 hold it down, but a run to the 698x area is still a possibility. This is the bottom of the last place that pushed price down. Sellers will be waiting in the lurks there.

Yes bro, I do. Go back in your charts for the last 10 years and you'll see it yourself.

Just like you'll see the price reverse when it goes from 20 pips to 30 pips past that price. SL on these entries are 35-40 past the closed price of the m15 candle that closed through the 35. You can set a PO and let the price pull you into the market, book some profit and cover. Even if you only get 10, it's 10 more than you had.

There's a running joke that we're only good for 10 pips in here!

But if it does close a pin above support at 6954, from a pure PA angle, that would signal a long for me...no?

Now to the details, we just closed our m15, not a pin, not a valid hammer because of the top wick, but buyers will still buy on the wick. However, notice how sellers have started their push again. Price was not able to get over the m15 35. Sellers are going to try and gain control, but it's a battlefield right now between the two. Trend traders see price at a good level to buy here.

also with positive divergence on 15m it's a buy for many traders (after the last candle)

If my accounts where not in positions, I would already be long from the 6945 area off the m15 200. Profit booked and covered on the rest. But your right, PA alone would support the long with SL on the other side of the wick as normal entries off pins/hammers should be.

hey guys i just wanted to say ive been lurking here a bit thanks to ken telling me about this thread.

I wanted to thank you eo for starting this thread your methods are interesting and ive been watching my charts. i think it will take some time for me to get used to the personality of the ma's but i like what i see so far.

When I'm in positions, it's easier for me to post. I have my TP's set and keeping my eye for a possible run back to the top. I've still got the 6923 area to clear on GU for my shorts to be really golden, but they've paid me well so far!
