Anyone notice distortion between price of EUR/USD and other pairs at this moment? (correlation reversed in last few minutes)?

1.4314 can't be ignored this time ,so longers to be carefull if it going to happen.Apparently there is a small diamond at the top in lower tf that already broken down.How dare I predict a down movement before frankfort & London to open ??

Market has just held pivot point at 1.4398. This indicates the money wants to drive the market higher, however, there has been some good selling pressure which I don't expect to evaporate just yet.

can somebody tell me when oanda reverts back to 0.9 spread. The one day i decided to trade during the euro session and it's not happening soon enough!

I don't think it's a fixed time. Must be based on liquidity...or moon phase maybe.

I decode it as follows:

10 weekend
7 weekend about to end / 5:00 am eastern time Asians to close their shops
5 weekend ended
2.5 market warming up after the weekend
1.7 low activity session / chances of a big break
1.5 low activity session / chances of a small break
1.2 lesser chance of a break
.9 business as usual

Lately spreads during asian sessions remain mostly around 1.2 or 1.5.

We will have factory orders from US and also ADP Employment.

Markets are expectig good numbers from factory orders and bad employment. If the employment will not be as bad as expected we might see another break up in SP500 and OIL. As a result there will be a high probability to see EURUSD above 1.4450 or higher.

Still, a correction is expected very soon in SP500. Maybe this correction will take place Friday, after NFP.

So I see limited upside potential for EURUSD on short term (today, maybe tomorrow) and chances to a retrace back to 1.41 - 1.42 next week.

Hi all,

Hope to see some real movement on the pair soon. I've been scraping for the past 3 days and the results has been good for me but i kinda misses those 100 pips movements. That's when the money really comes in.

I'm done scraping and watching from the sidelines for the rest of the week until something happens.

It's what you say, payroll change without farmers payroll (monthly)...

this is just an estimation, automatic data processed....

If you ask me it shouldn't have that much to say compared to Thursdays empl. change... But people can't wait to trade the news....

.. the way it's behaving at present, a Long above 1.4406 looks to be good! Not yet confirmed.
