I have no idea what time you woke up. Was it from a night's sleep or a nap? Or a quick 'nod off' while sitting at your computer? Do you get up 8AM EST or PST? or CET? And I agree, we scalp when we need to and we swing trade when we 'think' we have a correct long term analysis. Your numbers above are scalping numbers. It helps noobs to know you are looking at 1m and 5m charts and place very tight TPs and SLs when trading. By the time they read your posts, assess that you may know what you're doing, and try to copy your trade....they will be SOL (sh*t outta luck). But if you give them details of your trade, even if it was a winning/losing trade from last month, a noob can study the trade and see what went right/wrong and why.

But I digress, you don't have to do anything you don't want to. Keep up the posts Fool. I enjoy reading them.

Hey, I appreciate that. I would not advise anyone to copy anyone else's trades, and, if they do, they're just "dead man walking" - just a matter of time.

FWIW, I have learned a lot here and on other forums & I still consider myself a "noob" and probably will for some years to come, if I manage to stay around that long. However, most of my trading style is intact as it came to me demo-trading, before I ever heard of FF.

did a little number work on s0me currency charts..i did not do this before hand and dont claim to have predicted it.. but i used a tool i use sometimes to pick tops and bottoms.(calculator). granted its on a 4hr chart and only involves move down on ux since july 30... but this tool says the bottom on ux would have been 77.38 (100%) it got to 77.41.. so we may have a bottom short term as in days... did the same method on gu it hit a fib (76.4 %) 1hr chart.. eu (100%) 1hr chart au (50%) 1hr chart. on the other hand the usd/chf is between points i had 1.0527 (100%) as a short term bottom..we missed it by 37 pips.. maybe we still have to get there to move. anyway the ux is more then likely holding this pair down. and a range is a good place to make lots of money.. sit back and enjoy the low fruit. till something gets it moving.. oh and 4:30 et we get oil storage. i think storage is full with reifined product. but if not it may push this pair higher.. pack a lunch if not..

which TF? I have it a bit lower in hourly. The last hourly harami candle didn't have any real buying pressure, but i'm always wary of those little candles. If it breaks below that it could set up a move lower than i anticipate. What's you E. wave analysis, doesn't it look corrective?

Sorry to post this in here, but the forumites I usually listen to are on this thread...and you know who you are.

I usually calculate the daily pivots this way - H + L + C + Today's Open / 4. For today, I got these numbers: R2 1.4605; R1 1.4528; Pivot 1.4367; S1 1.4290; S2 1.4130

But there is also this formula: H + L + C / 3, which gets me these numbers: R2 1.4591; R1 1.4500; Pivot 1.4354; S1 1.4262; S2 1.4116.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Am I totally off or do some of you have the same numbers?
