indicators are all shitty arent they, so why pick on PSAR? Unless you got a sexy one??

Your advice is to put several indicators! Yeah, it's great to have a gazillion indicators.

What's wrong with simple? If it works for some, great. Doesn't mean you have to.

Pisar works for some and doesn't for others. To each their own.

no man they arent , u just got to check on Formula they uses and decide should u or shouldnt use it... or should u put some more numbers or shouldn't u ... anyway its not about how shitty instrumens are , but did u improve them to be more likely u need em ... they are just basic , made to be improve

did u figure it out allready ? It places point in 20-30-40 u decide and when the bar goes to that area u get another point , oposite so it "indicates" to open sell .... Actually it's like u can see it without any indicator showing u that...
never go for max profit, but for minimum lose !

I like to think I am sharp but I dont like to re-invent the wheel. See there have been thousands here before me who have written thse indis, so in their honor I will simply use them without changing them but it is whole another thing that of late I have been only uisng a few parallel lines and a stochatic oscillator.

I think I am content with that. But as far as PSAR is conerned, many peple I thinkuse them effectively to enter-and exit.

Try them on H4 + TF and you will see what I mean.

yeah on the monthly we have not even retraced 50% of the last drawdown, this could simply be a lower high in the big picture. the daily chart is cocx soup, and really smelly. not a good trend to speak of in the last month, just red, green, red, green, red, green. and now we are at a prev high. like I said a few pages ago, I think this is a channel, and a great ranging market, we need to break out of this poopy pile before we know where things are heading. be prepared for anything.

U actually didn't understand my point , arent u ? No one speaks about reinveinting something , Its about makin improvements , Programers that have made instruments that u're using actually didn't copy paste the whole formulas.... U see my point , u got to type what else they didn't put in formulas ... Instruments are made for so perfect situations , so even in good times u could get wrong signals (non speaking for credit crunch). Anyway u have to be really into the matter of making the instruments , making the platforms so u could understand... i am not speaking that u have to be some gig math master , but be more interested and u could learn it by urself. anyway i just gave an advice. I never answer to posts before i get really into the mater of others opinion , u see no matter if the instrument helps u or not u have to know what are they made for , how were they made. For Psar i proudly can say that this is 50 % / 50 % working indicator becouse it does not have an future sigh of the trend , U type period , it places point and that is all... u see whatever Wish u all luck

I see your point and that is why I said that it is better to use as few indis as practical.

It places points cuz it is made to place points. It works only when the markerts are trending and when they are not it is useless.

The main point is that different things work for different people. So why castrate a guy just cuz he dint say "Hello" do ya see/hear what I am saying?

Friday's close brought an end to July's trading. Attached are MONTHLY, WEEKLY and DAILY charts for EUR-USD.

MONTHLY close is bullish. But we are still in the triangle. Unless we break out of this triangle we should see further consolidation.

WEEKLY charts shows a 'hanging-man' candlestick. Caution is needed as we can break to the downside BEFORE moving higher. The WEEKLY bull flag is still in tact, but a failure of prices to break above the triangle can make a double-top signifying that we can consolidate into a rectangular formation or go down.

DAILY chart has some tough resistance to over-come. As we have a large number of 'upper-shadows'. This is the 3rd attempt for prices to test 1.4300-1.4338 area. For now we remain in the 600 point range that began around MEMORIAL DAY.

WHAT SHOULD AUGUST BRING:
August is a month when institutional traders go on vacation. US Congress is on break too. So we could see lower volume and perhaps more sideways movement. But world is a volatile place with many geo-political-economic events taking place. I am sure that something will happen to move the prices!
