Sonic,

Just expressing gratitude. I am still learning your system but i must say it is very simple and effective. This week is the first week that i have been profitable. I know with a little bit of emotional control i will be doing very well in a short time . I have learnt so much from this post. Whenever i feel doubtful all i have to do is to tune into this forum for inspiration.

Some days i just tune in to learn even when i am not trading. I must also mention the tremendous insight i gain from all "Sonicers" but in particular "DD" Baser and Rastaman.

Hello Sonic and everyone else as well... very glad to see the great participation on this thread - nice postings Basber (E/J)! Never a dull moment in fxland... well actually there are plenty of those eh... lol. Lmarti21 - that is exactly why I return to this very forum after 5 months away from FX... insight, sharing, and pursuit of self control - someone had posted a document (within the last few days) called Recency Bias - if u didn't check that out - it's worth a read - thanks again to the poster!

Small puncture on the topside of the descending triangle - possible expanding pattern/trapazoid/triangle - what's the correct term - I forget!?? (green lines) - time will tell.

exited the E/U long - I saw the E/J dip a quick 30 pips and the E/U gave me an opp to exit with +3 pips... reload - look for next better entry elsewhere!

Thanks for the insight Basber - I'm a bit rusty on the 'rules' clearly! (prob. should have only been looking for a short considering the 'trend')

The guy who wrote that sounds like a completely uniformed jerk! He prefers "long term investing"....gee, wonder how THAT worked out for him! He equates the huge increase in FX trading volume over the last eight years to the "pay phone phobia bubble".....idiot!! So much for the preservation of quality journalism. If that writer is an example, looks like anyone can be a journalist now-a-days......all it takes is having an uniformed opinion and being too lazy to have anything else.

You can wait for the retracement and wait when the red dots turn blue.
the indicator under the chart shows the 5 min,15,30, 1hr dots.
when price also turn to the above line and stoch is coming from below 20 we have a strong uptrend. when stoch is already going up we have a short uptrend.

EU: It has been in about a 70 pip range all day, based upon M15, and looking like it is making a "base", however........

Looking at H4, the PA has the "feel" of a Bear Channel, that could be foretelling a downside move in the PA.

Good analysis I believe, although I am not going to try to expect anything! lol

I bet there will be some kind of break due to the end of the month etc.

It's great isn't it. I am working on some of the same issues as you. My problem is I think too much and ignore what I see happening-I hesitate and watch the big move happen without me. Nobody ever increased their account doing that. I also have cut my profits short when I could have picked up extra pips.

Thanks to the traders and Sonic, I know I will become a better trader. Congrats on your week! Enjoy!

In That Article, I Read Many Things That "I Believe" It's True. Like Some Istitutes That Trying To Teach People That With Some Basic Knowledge You Can Gain Money From This Business And So On. These Kind On Words I See In My Hometown That Many People Do, But Putting Any Article Here Or Any Book Or Note To Read, Doesn't Mean All Of It Is Right. Everyone Should Find It On His/Her Own What Is Work For Him.
Anyway, I See Some Parts Of That Article That Is Very Close To Realistic Way Of Doing This Business. Not All Of It. Don't You Agree ?

He said it is an opportunity....yes, it is. He said something to the effect that maybe many making money are those selling "systems & strategies" rather than actually trading....yes, possibly. It is a tough arena and many will loose lots of money, including those that eventually become successful. But the tone of his writing was as if to say....."STAY AWAY!" So, he could be a 'talking head' for some hedge fund consortium, or other groups that would be happiest if they could keep retailers out of their 'personal' poker game....the article reads like a "scare tactic".
