Thanks for your interest. I like to scalp but I don't have the time (or mindset) to do it every day. Also, I mostly like to scalp the FO/LO into the London session - 3-4 hours max. But I am under the gun on some dayjob deadlines and I need to sleep at night, so today I am swing trading. I have an open position on E/U - long from .4010 (see E/U thread). I took about 1/4 off at +45 pips but will hold out for 100+ on the rest over the next day or so.

I will post charts at some point, but there is not much to see. Candlesticks, BB(21, 2.5), daily pivots and calc'd s/r levels, eyeballed horizonatal s/r and diag. channel lines. Vertical lines demarcating the various market open/close hours. I am a student of price action. M1, M5, M15, and H1 tf.

well' i don't know if it can be done or not, for sure i'm not able, i've attached this spreadsheet just to clarify what a 4% a day would mean after 200 days (almost a year trading)

Sadly it's not that easy, 4% on a £1200 account is Easy Peasy, 10% is fairly acheivable at this level.

But unless he's got balls of steel and can trade at $100 per pip without breaking a sweat his risk and reward will fall off at some point.

He can likely get to 20K before this starts to effect him too much, still make £800 per day average at $20 per pip requiring 65pips!! ( maybe he can go higher but that'll do me and my stress levels fine thanks )

Think Pips it's easier for me.

so a "4% a day forever" is impossible... sorry about that, it is possible to earn a 4% a day forever with a small account without compounding, only if you have a high win rate, but this probably will lead to a low RR system (would be a dream having a 60% or higher win with a 1:1 RR) this will lead that with 3-4 loss in a row you would probably lose a a big big part of your account, 3 losses in a row in a lifetime aren't so rare...
anyway why is this thread in trading journal? still didn't see a trade, just people claiming they made 10% a day but nothing to prove it...

I suspect he'll be happy to get to 20K before it starts dropping off, I don't think he meant it too seriously either.

Running @85% recently, but this is somewhat fluid ( still a works in progress here ) and my profits are nearly twice my loses, but it's taken 5years to get to this stage ( on and off ).

So everything can be done!!

Yeah thats how my stat's are looking at the moment.

Not going to say I won't slip back to old ways and blow my account in 2hours at this stage though.

It is not possible for me at least to make 4% per day..........It is huge and the risk and reward ratio will not make you do it............

I am finding for a system which can make me 200 pips per week consistently and per trade I shall take and taking 2.5-5% risk on my total equity per trade and when we shall have big amount like $100k then we should not use more than 2% risk per trade and when we have Millions of dollar to trade we should not take more than 1% risk per trade..........

And just imagine you are using 3-5 times leverage and getting 200 pips per week and risking 2.5% per trade you are getting at least 327% gain on your equity yearly basis and I am enough for that year....And if you can do it for the next 15 years then you $500 dollar micro account is going to be at the fifteenth year 26 Billions and I think you will get a place in Forbes................

Such a easy work.....Is not it????But the toughest part is doing it in practical basis ..............

If possible give us a system which can make +200 pips per week whatever the negative pips and so far I know big houses try to catch 100 pips per week...................
