Turveyd, I closed that loser in profit this morning. If I get a good scalp here or there in the next 8 hrs I might end the first week about 8-10% up. Currently sitting at 6.7% up. Not what I had wanted to produce but forever is a long time, so I have time to catch up.

6.7% might not be your goal, but it's out performing there 3 - 4 % per month which will be enough to make them pig sick and envious of you


+23% today and barely traded in the best part, ofcourse with my account -23% is just as easy and likely tommorow LOL

As far as averaging 4% per day? Sure, if you can average 4% per day you're golden. Of course that means that you're going to have wild days of up 10% and some days where you lose 5% (assuming you're able to quit, and not be Brokeback Financial in your workplace). Is it possible? Of course! Anything is! It's only impossible until it's been done!

Disclaimer: It's bullshit that I should feel like I have to give a disclaimer on my post. If the guy wants to do it, let him. If he does great, then that's awesome. If he falls short, just let him lay up where he lands and leave him be. It's like golf, some guys have better short game, and some are better drivers. One isn't going to dominate over the other.

Quid pro quo: Don't you think it's a waste of bandwidth to tell people you think they're wasting bandwidth when you know they're not going to pay attention?

If Turveyd or anybody else wants to post on my thread, its all good. Its not like my secret garden or anything. I can't remember but I might have slobbed all over one of Turveyd's threads....

I had an idea that it would be a place that I might document my journey. I can filter through whatever to get to that if I want to look back. I post on other threads & from time to time people have asked me how I trade so I thought I could send them here to find out. As I am finding out, it is a chore to document every trade - especially if you are a scalper. So "documenting my journey" might be a stretch. Another thing that has been dawning on me is that I will trade better if I spend less time goofing off on the forums. They serve a purpose up to a point....but it is easier to zero in on how I want to trade without checking in on a multitude of opinions.

4% a day forever? Holy shit what was I thinking? Seems mad today....

Sometimes things happen,whether it has anything to do with us doing something right or wrong,and its just out of our control.
There have been cases where cars have run off the road and ploughed into a house and killed someone inside watching tv in their loungeroom.
Now,you could say that how dare they watch tv in the front room,they should know better than that lol.Or,if they didn't watch tv so much they would have been ok lol.

Wow. I guess its pretty clear I caved to stress somwhat. I am currently rethinking the usefulness of this thread. Up 12% on the first week but was locked out of spot trading for about 1/2 of the days. Not sure I care about sharing anything one way or the other though & am beginning to feel like forum participation is just a distraction that gets in the way of trading & one I can & probably should do without.

You're right, it can get in the way and anyway, why should you need to justify your actions to anyone else. The only person who is important to you is you.

You know what you're doing every day - who gives a f*^k what anyone else thinks of your trading. If you get it right good on you - if you get it wrong are they going to help you? No, of course they won't.

Go off and do your thing, fella, and the best of ....

Skyhook, merely supporting a trading Bro unlike you naysayers, maybe you can't do it, but sure as hell doesn't stop someone from trying, hey I can do it getting well over 4%, no trades today but 23% yesterday so can take a few days off

Stop the putting people down to big yourselves up thats all your doing.

Too many it can't be doners sure ruin the focus and make you doubt yourself don't they, not the object of the thread which is to help each other out and long term H4 traders scoffing at a way of trading they just don't understand doesn't help.

I try not to trade and FF at the same time, but FF is a good distraction and sometimes a sounding board and trading can get pretty boring at times!!


I'm mainly watching learning and calculating my systems probabilitys on various setups at the moment and dipping my toes in, hence my high post count, yes I'm a sad geeky maths type

I have never said that I have "crashed and burned" my accounts many times - where did you see that? If you can't quote me as saying that then you are just a liar and a coward, using fiction to insult someone you don't know. Who has not struggled with self-discipline in their trading? Probably you, I'm sure. The net value of forex accounts that I hold is up over 100% in the 4 months that I have been live trading. Your opinion is absolutely worthless.

Sorry but any one with any common sense would first realise it's a bit tongue in cheek, yeah it'd be nice and maybe it's his dream he wants to work towards.

Is 4% per day Possible with the size of his account ??? YES!!!!

You all have 2 options :-

1. Help him to achieve this.
2. Leave the thread and leave him alone!!

Prerably no.1 and helping him realise it's not possible is not helping him, cause thats just your belief which on the basis 4% average per day has been done by loads of people in the world is well incorrect, remember this.

I attach my own trading plan for the next 40days, I'm hitting my 70pip target easily and notice my sliding risk percentage as the account grows!!

Likely confusing burning the account many times with me Fool.

But I top it up with £100 occasionally, normally run it upto £400 then back down to Margin and repeat, how I'm learning and no biggy as my losses are tiny over all.

£100 every 2 - 3 months generally I class as hobby money!!

i think it's annoying that people fantasize their gains with excel. Stop dreaming and trade well. Love trading for the sake of trading. Focus on trading and the money will take care of itself.

And regardless of how long it takes the lots to account value is the table I'm working for my declining risk setup!!
