The H&S is a great possibility on the 1 hour chart. If the right shoulder is rounded like the left shoulder, expect a big move down. However, if its rounded we will be in a sideways position for a while. Until then I think scalps are more prudent. At least untill there is comformation. There is also an ascending triangle on the 1 hour chart.
Interesting analysis, thanks. I was responding to the personality (lack of usual bull force) and to the fact that I knew US traders were going to want to sell from levels that high(they were coming on in 1/2 hour)if the UK didn't. After some waiting and observation I figured breaking 4300 was the bulls goal and they were probably already at the pub throwing back a pint to celebrate. Too late in the session to take out 4330 so I went for it...

Precisely what I think. Although I have a short order at 1.4240

I beleive that we have hit the upper wall of h4 channel today (unfortunately the reverse oder was 10 pips higher) and now we will more likely go down 300 pips to hit the lower wall at 1.4000 than break out to new highs. I feel the bulls are tired now

Breakout of the diamond should be after 53 min , expected downside but experience say UP .

And I missed the perfect limit sell by 4 pips due to negligence in drawing the lower channel line which we broke. now it was the perfect resistance to the pip!

above red numbers are the strongest then blue then black. black could be used for scalping (metr4) may want to add 1 pip to numbers. check it out with your platform. using mbna i have to subtract 2...
underlined numbers are good for reversal scalps. but you have to study pair personality for them to work for you..

sell at 1.4195 instead of 1.4236 I don't feel quite ok with this one but we'll see

I'm happy for myself....I used the resistance from that former support trendline to short and got rewarded. Closed it for 50 pips though. Have a hard time seeing continued bear pressure without a breather.
