entry=4283
stop loss=4324
take profit=4237

I may have to adjust the take profit depending on how price moves if it goes in my desired direction.

If I get stopped out then I get stopped out.

edit: I changed the stoploss because I always feel a little edgy when near an 00 level. And if we breach an 00 level then it usually will go up a few pips.
I've just taken profit now at +34pips. I was thinking of waiting longer and I still think it will hit the 4237 t/p level but I didn't want to hang around for the 'new home sales' news, so I figured I'd get out now

I went short before news with trailing stop of 5 pips, should it spike down, I will catch it.

Did you change your strategy to a scalping method recently? I thought that you used to trade more longer term type strategies?

Typically anything that points to a stabilizing of the US economy, and therefore eventually the world economy, weakens the US dollar because flight to safety is less neccessary. Thats why Euro spiked but lets see what US traders do with it..

If your method works on lower timeframes you will be profitable, just remember to use tight stops when scalping and take what you can when markets offer it to you.
