Your first job is to enginer a positive DOW-USD correlation. How will you get that done?
Ummmm okay. I thought the Fed can do stuff like that. Nevermind that one then.
Okay. Wait, here's what I'd do:
Your looking for a bubble - and as head of the Fed, I can do that.
Using the OMB (office of management and budget) and the House ways and means committee,
both of whom help to implement and craft US tax legislation, I'd somehow arrange to put
these two groups in a room together for as long as it took to devise a tax plan that would
make it so tax advantageous to buy US stocks, compared to other global equities,
that the tidal wave of money flowing into the US markets from domestic sources
would be 2nd only to the tidal wave of cash coming in from overseas.
One leg of the bubble would jack up the Dow and the other leg would jack up the Dollar.
Afterall, only a bubble can do this and that's what Fed chairmen do, create economic bubbles.
