2) The market moving news hasn't been released.
3) We are near a critical breakout point.
4) The equity market isn't open yet.

It's a hard thing, I know. I struggle with it at the moment as well. But we need to remember that this is a game of speculation and not something that you do like a 9-5 job. Just because we watch the market every day doesn't mean we have to take trades every day.

We are in the game to take money from the market yes, but we only do so if the market lines up with our edge (hopefully we have one) and money management rules. If we miss trades or don't trade for a few days, then that is too bad.

To compromise on our rules just leaves too much room for silly mistakes. We will lose on trades and be wrong a lot of the time, but the hope is that on balance we are profitable.

Friday being the last day of the trading week, and the weekly candle close, you can get weird action, exactly the same that happen in the last 10 minutes of a 1 hour candle. It's less predictable, that's why Fridays are harder to trade imho
