Bulls need to fight here to keep this hourly bar from closing below 4165, with a higher low it would look better for them.

Well this bank cartel (FED) is there to do what banks do (make money) they will not loose any sleep about how our life is going down the grain, as long as we keep monetizing their lavish life style.

What we need is somebody to fight for us ...like...a government...a congress...a senate...to the people for the people etc like Lincoln's ideal.

The hand full of people watching for us in the government can't do anything while the bankers keep greasing the politician vast majority

Well..in the video Bernie says that we are "swapping" dollars for Euros, later on, he states that they pay us interest, so... we are swapping or lending money?

If we are really swapping, the FED is probably happy with the euro going up..righ? it is sort of sintetically shorting the dollar.

If we are lending as they pay interenst for the dollars "swapped" we also have to pay interest for the euros "swapped"..right? Or the ECB is so generous that they will pay us intetest and on the same token let us keep their euros without rollover ?!?

Somebody is laying or I just did not get it

You didn't get it cause it wasn't clearly explained. It was called a credit swap but described as an interest bearing loan to the central banks. A loan is a loan and a swap is a bet, as I understand it.

Complex instrument- isn't this what the Congress was grilling Geitner and Bernake about in the first place as being one of the out there investment types that got us into this mess to begin with, being misused on Wall Street?

CDS (credit default swap) happens in the open market, is a different thing Steve, Thats not what Bernanke was refering to. He was talking about some kind of hybrid interbank lending...anyways I guess he was just BSing the congress they just landed the money as the congressman stated

Yeah I realized that as I read through and found the correct the link, for some reason it doesn't work when I post it, but if you hit the blue "swap" in the wiki article off the original link it brings you to it.

well.. by the way Bernanke explained the whole deal (assuming he is telling the truth) the FED is holding euros as collateral for the loan.

Thats a gamble right? Because the euro could go down and your collateral will worth a lot less.

Well...but what if they have the power to prop the euro anytime they want so the collateral will never be jeopardised....uh...well...they can !!!!

Whats not funny, to me, is that we're actually forming a W on the hourly. If the bulls recover this from one of the nastiest looking bear charts I've seen I will consider Platypus' theory proven.

Could be..if so we'll move more sideways then spike again before falling.

I liquidated most of my position, just to break even for the week-still have one good short open which I'm going to let ride. If it spikes then I have good place to sell from, if not then I make money..either way is good.
