Hi everyone. Im a lont time lurker that checks sometimes to watch your show (especially when Im bored).

Ive had shorts since 1.41 (5 days). Usually I exit losing trades after about 10 pips (Im a scalper) but this time I thought I would hedge the trades (3 lots) expecting a reversal. Then the Dow kept going up ... and now we are at 1.4260ish (heading for 1.4288 I reckon). I am in the sh##it!

Since Friday I have been scalping the top half of my hedge and doing well. 120pips Thursday, 135pips on Friday, had a bad day Monday (lost confidence and fear at having to close the hedge for a 200pip loss!!) But decided today that as long as the hedge was in place I could continue scalping and making pips. So far two trades today for 55pips and 85pips with lots of other trades possible but fear prevents me from taking em.

What I dont know is what happens at the end when I close this hedge. I think it may have been careless of me to even contemplate a hedge. But this is only a small live account that I keep topped up about 1000 bucks so I thought to give it a try.

this hedge has been interesting. the separation between top and bottom keeps getting bigger (duh!!!). I am hoping for the reversal (which may never come - then what shall I do?

1.4266 now, maybe 1.4322 by end of session. Hopefully reversal by Friday but no reason EU cant get to monthly pivot (1.4629) over the next few days. Mr Xaaron will be happy (well done btw).

A magnetic trendline on eur/usd, can see on 60M, 15M. Keeps snapping to it -

News can make logic go out the window. My clarity is hanging by a thread. I see the move down I want but don't know if the news will mess me up. I am still biased long on my intraday basis.

Changed the blue fork as the one posted yesterday was violated by the long sideways movement. It seems to be respected for a couple of days now, so let's see if it holds.

I think it was overbought and will go up again soon
