if it breaks above 1.4165, then nothing can stop its upward movement

There are not any fundamental reasons why this pos should go down very much: stock & commodity futures are green now, "good" news on the breeze about CIT salvation. there's not a whole lot of "news" announcements on the slate for this week either. Earnings news will rule the up&down of the E/U. I'd have to be biased long at this point, which sucks because I have a short or two that will sting pretty bad if/when I have to close them....waiting on a dip back to .4060, but waiting is costing me more money than axing those dogs will...probably.

Ha, ha - been there, done that and when the market is moving really fast and chopping up and down, it's even worse. Boy, did I used to get myself in a mess. I just used to click the profit column so that all the trades in profit were at the top and all the negative ones at the bottom and bang them out that way. There's no time to think ...

Hedging itself is confusing , I tried few time before but when one position with good profit cashed & thought time to turn arround the trend & ultimately surprise to see the ugly loss out of control.Now not doing any as such and any time I have opposit trades open simply indicate my confusing state of mind & try close all position as soon as possible.

Go oneway either loss or profit , with trend or against it .Fill the GAP must be working for now .

same with me... last week based on the calendar, USD fundamentally gains strength and EUR weaken, but EUR still rules... I wonder if today they will correct it or not...

4:06a GMT - Decided to back it out to the daily charts for an analysis as we head into the week to get a wider perspective on some of the recent market movements. As you can see in the chart below at a glance the pair has major highs in place in December of 2008 and June of 2009. The pair is currently trading close to the upper trendline resistance of those two highs. We also appear to have very solid support in place around 1.2400 that has been tested several times over the past year. More recently we have seen a symmetrical triangle consolidation (upper trendline is red diagonal, lower is yellow) take place between the lows and highs since June of 2009. Starting on July 8, 2009 we have seen a possible consolidation movement between 1.3830 and 1.4200 (parallel yellow lines).
Trading Idea: With such strong resistance lines (daily and hourly confluence) I will look to sell overbought on the RSI (over 70) with supporting SS. However, in the short-term I also expect strong support around 1.4100 and 1.4050 so you could probably catch pips off of a bounce of these support levels if that was your trading style.

It looks very bullish on Daily chart. Has passed friday's inside bar to the north. 1.4180 will be critical point.

Check the monthly chart and how close it is from breaking the Pisar level (4403). It may be happening before the end of the month.

No, I just open up more trades (hedge). In other words I have longs and shorts. That's my personal trading style.

definatly. The question is will we just go up to kiss 4200 and come down leaving a wick causing a false inside bar break. Thats what im being carefull about.
