Joking apart, do you think we hit the weekly high? And what are your long term numbers if you are willing to share...

im limiting my trading to short term till after most of the earnings are out..but with the big rally in equitys i am surprised we are not higher..4148 could be the top.. but i dont know ho it will end up... if a euro favorable report is released when we are at the top we breach the top... no body can answer this..i have a short going thats red.. if i was not in it i would stay out or scalp..or trade eur/gbp boring but safer117137

I opened a heavy short @ 1,4116, SL @ 1,4126 TP (50% at 10 pips, rest target 1,4067).

This is an addition to my other shorts.

I have a short running in red too, not covered by a hedge this time as I hoped to clear out my hedge totally (but I didn't expected such a move today). But it ain't a big deal, even 1.50 wouldn't take me out, but 1.39 is my TP for my short one atm.. I hope we will reach it sooner or later...

I don't wonna panic and put another short as this could make this more difficult if the trend keeps on going south.

Not the best trading style I know, so don't take an example on this

i dont know what ur spread is, but ill take 2 pips as an average.

pips needed to reach ur SL = -8
pips needed to take ur (first) TP = 12

profit vs. loss = 50/50
chance of winning in random market = 40/60

thats not a good coin toss

u need an HUGE advantage over the market to trade in this style profitable.

Sold 75% of position @ +10 pips, for the rest SL moved bo B/E and trailing SL added. Also the short from 1,4125 was also closed @ 1,41.

The advantage right now is low market volume and there was a touch of 1,4116, when I opened. Could have as well been stopped out, I was willing to accept the risk, but my forecast is that at least for the first hour or two of asian session the price will retrace a bit below 1,41, how much that is I don't dare say, but I am waiting for a correction to 1,36 sometime during the summer (thought it would happen in june but there was nothing).

PS: The spread that I have is 2 pips, that's correct.

92 posts in almost 3 years. Doesn't take much (other than a dull market. Or someone you think you can help.) to get your fingers clickin' on the keyboard, does it.

looks like we're headed for the pivot@4068 for a nice bounce, which happens to be yesterday's R2, and also happens to be some strong support there.
