Doesn't want to work on my platform for some reason. If it can graphically show a narrowing or widening of spreads between highs and lows and can show history back to at least last week/month, then you should be ok to use it.

It doesn't access history for some reason, I think the code was thrown together in a hurry. It will only show you history from the time that you attached it.

I've had it running for a couple days now.

Don't ask me why the 500 and -500 lines are there. I noticed that the spread toyed with that level for a while so I assumed it was of some significance.


Man those JPY pairs are taking off today! I'm hoping for a reversal today.

From the chart you posted, the numbers appear to be insignificant... I can see how the indi could be of some use for determining immediate visual trend, but the spreadsheet method is better for precision.

I would recommend that you take a look at the group HA for better visual confirmation than the profitcalc graphical indi.

I just got it working. I had to edit the pairings for IBFX. What do you consider a comfirmation of reversal/retracement?

2 consecutive red candles with no/small wicks on top looks like a good rule of thumb to me.

You need to have a basic understanding of chart analysis and the tools to go with it (fibs, trend lines, support/resistance). Do not blindly rush in. Bear in mind that the HA is not true candlestick formation, even on a single pair. Also remember the HA is a visual representation of the basket and therefore will have smoothing properties applied to the visual of the collective.

Watch and analyse how the HA reacts with the IA, then draw your own conclusions. Remember, the HA is a visual reference only and does not take the place of IA analysis. You cannot solely trade the HA without the IA, unlike the other way around.

Please do not ask me for any more info on the HA as it is not part of T101's strategy and I wish to respect his thread rules. TIA

Wow...did the same exact thing that netted me +3600 pips last week.



So far, +1500 pips this week...

Nebuman please remove that wide chart of yours. You really have to learn how to paste a smaller chart. I remember this is the 2nd time i call your attention to this matter.

It screws up the page everytime you past you chart.

I don't see exactly how it screws up the page. It's a damn picture and as long as its helping other people see things, then it should be OK!

But since its your page, I will remove it...

Very early on in this thread there was an indicator posted called profitcalc_graphical. It wasn't posted by Trader101 but it has his name on it. I'm assuming the code was taken from his original profitcalc EA. I took it upon myself to modify it again so we could have a graphic indicator of the spread of our IA. So here it is. I'm not a coder so it's probably a little sloppy. Also, just like the profitcalc_graphical it doesn't save history. So if you close MT4 or change timeframe, it starts over. If anybody here knows how to fix that, feel free.

Could someone please tell me where to find the 1.12 version of the Orest indicator. I have version 1.11 and I cannot find the other in any of the attachments. It may be that I cannot see the forest for the trees, but I just cannot find it. Please help, it is the one that has the hourly looking back so that it shows different to the 4H.

Its all in the first few pages. You should also remove your attachments before T101 gets annoyed.

On my demo account I've installed the Tradehedge script and the miniACC protect EA and the profitcalc R3.

Do I just wait for the trade signals now and trade on my live account?

I will be using the EA's on my live account (the profitcalc will define trend and the miniACC protect should have stop loss, limit)

I suspect I should be using script on my live account - what does that do?
