havent been here in a while but that news out of europe regarding zew sentiment and industrial production is just plain ridiculous....if the euro does not TANK on this in the next 12 hours...well that will say a whole lot about fundamental analysis. I mean what a joke..expected 44.2 confidence and we get a 39.5....man...

FXstreet.com (Buenos Aires) - Euro remains the weakest currency across the board, unable to gain against dollar and hovering around the 1.4000 zone since past Asian session, despite stronger stocks around the world. ZEW survey about economic sentiment printed 39.5 against 42.7 previous month while Industrial Production in the Euro zone, also come to the downside, rising 0.5% against 1.5% forecasted.

Euro fell to 1.3964 after the data, still moving in a tight range. Supports for the pair are at 1.3950 strong zone followed by 1.3915 and 1.3880. Technically, hourly indicators remain flat with no clear bias for the next hours, thus the lack of upside strength is keeping the pair capped by the 1.4000/20 zone, followed by 1.4050 and above 1.4100.

Their earnings report will be quite interesting indeed (roughly 3 hours from now). Not sure if you noticed but the US stock market MASSIVE(black box) rally yesterday was led by financials led by this "sucks" company getting upgraded (and consequently the weakness over the last 12 hours for the dollar). Their also expected to report far better then analysts estimates. Still...you know what they say..buy the rumor (yesterday) and sell the....(today). Add on top of that the dismal Eurozone data..there is just no momentum up left..not for the euro and not for the stock market. Just my 2 cents (not trading advice in any way).

Hi Ali, if you're interested by the 34 ema and if you haven't read this book you can find more informations in "ForeX Trading for Maximum Profit - Raghee Horner" ... The book/system is about fibboncaci, ema 34 end-high-low and MACD or CCI. The book is really for newbies ...
