Hi L,

I typically use S/R targets like prior highs and prior lows. If a floor pivot or a fib level happens to coincide, so much the better. I prefer to use levels that all trades can see. Not all traders use floor pivots and fibs, etc., but all traders can see S/R (even if they don't recognize it).

But you should do it how you feel comfortable. My way is best for me, but it is not the only way, and it may not be the best way for you.

Time question for Sonic.

Sonic, sorry to bother you with this question but, I saw a post of yours in which you were looking to trade the UK session as 1 pm Singapore time?
This confuses me a little as I am here in Japan and the London session opens at 4pm Japan time. As Japan is 1 hour ahead of Singapore, would you not start trading the London session at 3pm?

Either way, I take it you are trading from the open of the London session for the first 3 hours then the New York session for 4 hours.

Sorry for the confusion, Asia time really gets me confused.

1 a.m. – 4 a.m. EST (UK session)
7 a.m. – 11 a.m. EST (US session)
Starting to see instead of just looking.

My main intention is to look for trade one hour before/after UK session opens and one hour before/after US session opens...

Example... if UK session open @ 4PM (japan time)...I want/recommend you to look for set up between 3PM-5PM(Jap time)...

Using higher TF as a trend confirmation and taking trade in lower TF.

As in your attached image, the bullish engulfing indicate that GU bullish, and then we wait for H, HL, HH formation in lower TF (m15) as our entry point.

This is to ensure we didn't fight against the trend.
