S&P futures green, crude futures spiraling up out of control (.6 %). Big euro rally on the way. Probly in my lifetime.

Me being an ignorant ass and just using plain vanilla graphs from Oanda and not too clued on candles, what do you mean by "green" and "red".

Green = up, or positive. Red = down, or negative.

Open range play on Tokyo has been good for 10-25 pips every day that I have looked at it, which ain't many. But lots of people swear by these open range set plays. Trade at your own risk & Good Luck.

10 pips is plenty for me - greed is always my downfall.
"The Fool" - I see you are a Civil Engineer. Good for you. I am a Civil/Structural engineer. I have great trouble being a long term trader. My preference is very short term. Pressurising but really less stressful as buy and sell signals happen quickly. The problem right now is that the cycles are very short as everyone appears to be skittish and taking profits very quickly. Maybe the fall season will change that?

I am a dedicated scalper. I put on a 5 or 10-pip default TP on moves that might ultimately yield 10x that, but then I might do that 10 times or more on that move. I like to get in and out with easy winners. If you want to argue the merits of long-term vs. short term trading you might find that argument easy to find here. Whatever works and the bottom line of your account is the only argument that matters, though, imho.

Civil engineering, one of the last honest professions. Don't burn any bridges if you start to get rich in Forex. Best of Luck to You.

Levels to watch: 3856, 3828, 3913

Bit of a note: Been proclaiming myself a bear, but the low volatility followed up by the almost oversold makes me believe there maybe a bullish breakout.

The 4 hr trend for range trading is intact, with the market having tested the bottom trendline. 1.4100 is the upside target to test the median line.

Morning all . Same like yesterday morning it seems up for time but this time may not fail very shortly & down throughout the day.Price can break through 1.3918/44/50/88 before continue down to 1.3770/57 /28/00. It should stop there & full blown bullish set up complete .

Anything can happen , it is a new day & no 2 can be the same.
