On a demo account I opened recently to test out MetaTrader I trade 1$ per pip per 1000$ in my account. When the account started at 5000$ I traded 5$ per pip, when it was 6000$ I traded 6$ per pip, .... Offcourse I never will allow for that that, but this way I can theoretically let a trade go against me for 999 pips without going bankrupt! That account is up 120% in a few weeks, so you can get nice results with small leverage too.

Impressive results. I see most of you are using small margins/lots (GET RICH SLOW), which seems to be more stable and, as you said, stressfree.
cut losses short, let profits run.

Not when deliberate. IMHO it makes you even more arrogant as you start believing you are so good you need to force yourself to fail.

Trading overconfidence eminates from the subconsious. Most of the time we don't even realise that we are gripped by it until we are in negative pips. At the subconsious level taking a small loss maintains a steady state...well it does for me anyhow.

I respect your view but it really is about combatting the subconcious rather than the concious (to which you are referring).

Hi guys, does anybody here have any comments-insigths about the reasons behind the prop of minimal wages. Is the FED trying to by "brute force" create a inflationary environment?

We all know that inflation (or hyperinflation) does not happens if wages dont somehow also go up . So is the governament conspiring with the bank cartels (FED) in this matter?

I'm no schrink, but IMHO you are feeding your subconcious the message I stated earlier. But if it works for you there is no point discussing this further.

PS: I'm sure I send the correct message to my subconcious brain by having losing trades without trying on purpose :-)

Subconcious programming only takes place at the height of emotional arousal thus it's unlikely that I'm actually reprogramming as it isn't carried out under duress or excitement.

5min volty still containing PA for now and PA above 3910....if macd histo ticks up - maybe long time with tightish SL - maybe not bad RR for a long? still not quite ready yet don't get me wrong. i'm still waiting for confirmation....thoughts ?

I think you are spot on in the interpretation of the indicators. I'm still long from early this morning thus my setup is still valid.
