Your entry point was not in accordance with SonicR as you entered without proper wave analysis. You would need to wait for price to print its high, pullback and print a higher low, and then your entry would be above the first rally high. You entered based upon the 5:45 AM high. That high is irrelevant to SonicR rules. The high at 11:00 AM is the first rally high. Price has now pulled back from that high. If price now resumes its rally, then entry would be a stop above the high of the 11:00AM bar.

See my screenshot: The yellow lines reprsent my wave analysis, and the red line would be what I believe to be the proper entry point. Remember, as Sonic says, don't trade the indicators. The indicators are used to confirm price wave analysis, support, resistance. Without the proper waves, then it does not matter what the indi's are doing.

Here is my interpretation of current EU price action per SonicR - I have edited the lines to be more like Sonic's conventions: Black line entry point, red line stop loss, blue lines are take profits.

This could also very quickly become a short sale situation as well.

Time and the waves will tell us ...

Just scalped 78 pips off USD/JPY after it had been threatening to break the 94 level all day.

Could have let it run a bit more but I was busy.


I am liking sonic's system more and more as it has made me look at the charts in quite a different manner than how I was previously looking at them.

I agree. I do not post here much, but I have been having a lot fo success with Sonic's system since I discovered it back in January or February.

No, that is not it at all. Price never triggered the long according to Sonic's rules. Both of the traders who took this as a long traded did not wait for a Low - High - Higher low - Higher High trigger.

Here is another view of my chart - focus on the wave analysis. You must get a Low, followed by a rally high that closes above the sonic channel, followed by a pullback to a higher low, followed by a buy stop at a higher high.

What happened here is that price made a low, rallied above the sonic dragon, pulled back to a higher low, but then failed to make a higher high. The long set up turned into an excellent short set up.

I don't know what's happening, I make consistent loses with this sonic system. Can somebody really give an in dept explanation of how it works?
I follow the manual closely but still encounter loses.
Is anybody using this system on a live account?
What are your results?
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I just need help. My account is fizzling out.

Fine posts, ddaytrader, and appreciated. I feel like ceasing posting as my recent ones were premature and PA whipped in the other directions. Anyway, nice "W" on EU M15...could it lead to the Bulls getting back in the game? I don't know, and we still have the Asian Traders to contend with....who may feel like sending their own torpedoes at it.

Edit: Add second chart (M5). After forming "W", PA went on to drop and test the "W" mid-height, which is good. Bulls may be getting aggitated and come back.
